Within six months of owning this vacuum, the hose inlet (the part where the wand seats into the vacuum) broke twice. One time the hose inlet plastic broke, the second time the inner vacuum motor housing broke. This is a result of poor design. Regardless, I chalked up the first occurrence to user failure and willingly went into my own pocket for repair. The second time, it was clear that there was a design flaw present and I did not wish to keep incurring the repair costs. Again, this was within the first six months of owning the product.When I reached out to the manufacturer, they stated that since the unit was purchased through Amazon, they would not honor their warranty.When I reached out to the seller, they were unaware that the manufacturer would not honor the warranty, and they provided no recourse of their own.Garbage product, garbage customer service, uninformed and heedless seller. STAY AWAY.

This is our second Lindhaus HealthCare Pro in twenty years. We gave the first one, still running fine, to our daughter two years ago when she graduated college and moved into an apartment and needed a vacuum. My wife decided she wanted a Dyson as her next vacuum and got the DC28. She quickly found it to be heavier, louder, and more difficult to maneuver than her Lindhaus and regretted the switch. After two years, we're back to the Lindhaus and the Dyson is relegated to the basement for now. We're happy again with the new Lindhaus that went into service Dec. 2016. It's so much quieter than the Dyson and the flexible hose works well unlike the Dyson where the suction is always trying to collapse the hose down to it's shortest length. The other benefit we've rediscovered has been the move AWAY from a bagless vacuum again. That was a mess dumping that container in the trash.

Just not enough power and extension hose very short.

It broke after about 6mo of light use. Now it'll stop agitating and start to sound like it's going to burn the motor up.

This is our third Lindhaus vacuum. We bought this one so we would have one upstairs and put our old one downstairs. Love the size, the weight, great suction, and love how it goes flat to go under the beds. Also the head is small enough to go between our dining room chairs ane end tables.

My new Lindhaus is somewhat noisy as compared to the older one (age twenty plus, finally quit). But it does a fine job and there are several little refinements that I appreciate.

We had this vacuum cleaner for a little over six years, had to replace many parts on it and in the process found that it suffers from a number of engineering and design flaws that resulted in the mentioned repairs. This is obviously based on personal experience, but anyone considering purchasing this model should make sure they have access to a good parts supplier. And herein lies the more significant reason for the low rating. If I could have given it zero stars, I would have. With the latest repair, after having waited for 2 1/2 months for the correct part to be shipped (at the writing of this review we have yet to receive it), and the US distributor admitting that the parts list is wrong, I have no words left other than to say, stay away from this brand. I could go into more details of what transpired with the distributor and the authorized dealer, but there are more important things in life, such as looking for a great alternate vacuum cleaner. No more Lindhaus here.All that to say that customer service and the ability to get an expensive item like this repaired is just as important as the quality of the product, which isn't that great to start with.

This vacuum cleaner is easier to handle for those of us who have trouble with large vacuum cleaners. Also, with the flip of a switch one can change the beater bar position from vacuuming carpets to vacuuming wood floors without damaging the wood floors. Good suction. Dirt bag is fairly easy to change. I bought one of these machines about 17 years ago and it is still functioning great. So I purchased this new one for a second home. It is almost identical in design and just what I expected.
