I have turned off the brake sensing and have it on a bright 1 second flash, on this setting it lasts 8 hours. Good visibility even during the day. The charging port is nicely protected

Great fit and value for money, the break isn’t as sensitive as hoped but still good enough.

Well made and sturdy light that sits neatly on the saddle rails and is day light visible. Maybe not bright enough as a night time light?

This is a super-bright rear cycle lamp with 5 modes plus an optional braking mode whereby the light emits a static ultra-bright light when it detects braking. Design is excellent: it is a compact lamp of 35mm diameter which fits into a cleverly designed plastic mount, similar to many others, but with the addition of a chunky silicone-rubber rear pad which snuggly fits around the bike seatpost while ensuring there is no risk of even the slightest scratch. It is secured with bands and remains firmly in place, even on a bumpy ride along rutted lanes. Very pleasingly, the USB-C charging port is recessed beneath a protruding block on the rear and has a neatly-fitting cover ensuring rain is directed away and should any rain manage to drip, the port is very well protected. I have many other lamps where the protection is sadly lacking and this can write-off many otherwise serviceable lamps prematurely. I have been using it on my bike daily for the last week in heavy rain which has given its weather-proofing a thorough test and I can confidently confirm its design ensure it is rain-proof. Because I am cycling on black, unlit, country lanes, usually in rain, I use two rear lamps, a larger lamp on my pannier rack and this light on my seatpost in a flashing mode to ensure I am highly visible. I particularly like this one due to its braking mode which can alert any traffic behind that I am either stopping or slowing to avert a pot-hole - a good safety feature for all types of roads. This is not the cheapest lamp at £21.99 but I feel it warrants its higher price due to its superior quality, braking mode and recessed charging port ensuring greater longevity and hence I would recommend it.

I got this as when you are on a trail at night doing night riding, its very easy for the person behind you, to you straight up the back of you because there is no indication of slowing down and you are massively limited by what you can see. Seeing that this light can do a form of braking light, I thought this would be perfect. In the box, is the light itself, the mounting mechanism for putting it around your seatpost or seat rails and a small instruction leaflet. The light itself is made of hard plastics, smooth clear plastics for the lens and a rubberised button. The mounting is made up of elasticated bands, rubberised plastic to go against your seat post (To prevent damage) and a hard plastic mating piece that clips onto the light. All of which are very well made, nice tolerances and no sharp edges. The light itself is super bright, would be very hard not to see if you were using it. This only gets brighter when you simulate braking and it goes to full brightness! The different modes like flashing, breathing or rotating flashing, all which are bright and can catch a drivers eye easily. Using the light between modes is easy enough, the centre button works fine and I have been able to test out each of the modes, turn braking on/ off easily enough. The braking feature has been really good for me so far, I have had a few times where it hasn't lit up, however most of the time, my partner has said that it lights up fine when slowing on the trail, massively useful for night riding! The main downside is that the instructions are small, however if you look at the instructions, there is a website where you can go to and see a much larger images/ in-depth guide. Overall, this product works great, has been useful to not crashing on the trail already and it well made. 5/5!

Don’t bye this one it worked once it comes on but won’t move on to another setting

As a keen cyclist, I am always looking for ways to stay safe and on paper, this light seemed like a perfect addition to my current setup. The light is small, very small but it seems to be very well made and there are no quality issues that I can see. I really liked the frame connector, all to often you get a fixed bracket that means the light shines at a silly angle, this has a slanted rubber gromet that can enable straight or sloped connections. I also liked that they give you the option to use the easy removable rubber bands or you can hard fit it using the included cable ties. The light twist fits to the bracket with a reassuring click and it feels very secure. So, to the features. This is where things get a little more complicated. The brake light is activated by sudden movement, so.it will pick up braking and illuminate the light as a brake light. BUT, it also seems to activate on acceleration and small angle adjustments, so big hill's etc so you do seem to get a fair few "false" braking events. Is a problem? Not really, the bright light will attract attention of drivers behind regardless, but it detracts from the poin Secondly, although the brake light is very bright, the base light isn't, I know that it has to be able to show the difference between riding and braking, but I also need a bright light for general road use. The last thing is the price, at £27 for one rear light, it's quite expensive, added to the fact that it does work, but not all the time, I have to question the value?

Plusieurs mode de lumière plutôt voyant. En France c'est fixe et point. La batterie se décharge assez vite, je pense que toute les 4/5h il faut recharger. Évidemment j'ai du mal a évaluer le surplus de lumière au freinage...

Prodotto ben fatto, pratico ed economico. Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo con Towild (avevo già il faro anteriore cl1200 - consigliatissimo). 4 stelle perché mi aspettavo un po' più di luminosità in lampeggio (confrontato con altro faro posteriore di stesso livello). Comunque fa il suo.
