Terrific product at a great price
I wanted to get key fob covers for my X5, but didn't want to spend a fortune or add even more weight to that bulky fob. I found these key fob covers, and they are terrific. The fit is great, and it comes with a key ring as well. Basically, it's a clamshell cover and is remarkably easy to put on the key fob. I think the length of the key ring that comes with it is too long, so I just put on another key ring. I purchased both version (clear black and matte black). The one difference between the two (besides the material) is that the matte black has a hole where the BMW logo is on the actual fob. The clear plastic one does not have that, but since it's clear you can easily see the logo. All in all, a great product at a great price, that's easy to install, doesn't require tools (like others), and does not add much weight to the fob. And if you need to get the key from the fob, it's easy to take apart. Highly recommend.

Worthwhile purchase
Nice Protection for your fob. The new BMW fob is expensive and if dropped on pavement will definitely get scratched. This case is 2 pieces to accommodate the shape of the fob. Once fitted together it looks pretty good and encases the fob completely. The lanyard it comes with is nice too.

Works and looks great
Excellent product ! Lost the synthetic button cover for the trunk on one fob and couldn’t replace so the fob looked broken. Added this cover and looks and works so well, I added the second cover to my other unbroken fob.

Not sure about it
I’m not sure if I like it or not. It has a nice matte look to it, but it was difficult to put the key fob in. Then even more difficult to put the back cover on. The back cover kinda looks like it will come off. It doesn’t add weight which is nice and the buttons are still functional. I am considering returning it.
