This toy is great for kids three and under, although they will need assistance winding it up. My youngest daughter loves it, but I'm sure she loves it because it's Skye. She did not use it as much as I initially thought. I think that we might get more use out of it outside in the pool during the summer. I don't regret buying it; there is nothing wrong with it. Unfortunately for us, it fell into the "omg, it's super awesome" category straight to "meh." The price is very reasonable. Maybe it would have had more appeal if it was sold along with the rest of the paw patrol crew instead of individually; it might have been more of a hit.
