I wanted this for the purpose of an outdoor booth and I was both interested in the performance but also power consumption. I used my Kill A Watt meter when testing and this thing peaks at 9.4 watts, which is great. As for the performance, it worked as well as you might expect. Easy to use and it worked well! No complaints here! I would recommend this product.From a wish-list standpoint, it would be nice to have a built in battery to truly be "portable", a clip for the remote (because I know it will be easily lost), and more granular control over the LED settings (there are about 8 presets with no additional customization). I do like a few of the preset LED configurations though, so it's really not a big deal. I thought I had found the ultimate hack purchasing this item. I work out in the middle of nowhere in the desert. Summers have been pretty hot to say at least and i try not to idle my truck during my whole 12 hour shift. So I found this and was super excited. Unfortunately, even filling it with cool water and leaving it running for a little bit to see if it just needed To warm up did not bear the results I had hoped. It just blows out hot air. Unfortunately, because of my work schedule, I was unable to process the return in time so now I’m just left with this worthless piece of technology

I recently purchased the TIOKVIOP Portable Evaporative Air Cooler, and it has been great for keeping my room cool.Reasons why I like it:* The waterfall system transforms ice water into a refreshing breeze. There's a nice mist and cool airflow created.* There's 3 speed modes and 3 wind modes. There's a nice cooling vapor generated.* Its quiet, yet powerful enough. Its advertized to operate less than 40dB. I dont find it disturbing.* Its easy to clean, since there's a detachable design. The tank lasts for hours, good enough to last overnight. Also, when the water is finished, the unit switches to natural wind mode automatically which is nice.* There's ambient lighting. Tehre's 7 color night lights.* There's also a lifetime warranty as well, so if anything goes wrong, I can just contact the company.If you are looking for a portable AC / Fan, then give this one a shot.

Not an air conditioner. It even says so on the packaging when it arrives. However, the fan in it is alright, and the misting function does help, if only when you're right next to it. This is more of a fan with a cheap humidifier built in, making it fairly quiet, but a rather poor design if it's being advertised as air conditioning. Pass on this one.

It does the trick . seems I have bought a number of these for the office ,garage ,and elsewhere at one time or another during the hot summer days and nights .This particular model for its size may possibly be the best in its class . I fill the entire resovoir with ice cubes for the best results on those hot dog days of July and Augest ,helps keep the A/C cost down just keep in mind it’s a small portable unit and best results are being close to it .

I have a thermostat in my room and put this on filled it with water... nothing changed in temp, added ice to the water, this had zero effect... the temperature after 8 hours of running on "full blast" (which itself is such a misnomer, as it has a VERY weak air output). this was garbage, there's just no other way to say it , I sat directly in front of it .. INCHES away and felt pretty much nothing.. certainly nothing of any sort of cooling effect, you can get the same effect by putting your face in front of a panting dog... just "heated dog breath"... that should be the description and illustration. worst product I've ever bought.
