More puffy than my stomach after eating them
My favorite out of the 3 are the cheddar cheese balls! They're cheesy little guys, very cheesy and salty. The puffs are all a little different in size and have a good puff and crunch to them. The honey bbq twists are surprisingly stronger than I thought after tasting the cinnamon. Perfect amount of spice and mix between bbq and honey. The cinnamon sticks were ok, I taste too much of the corn mixture instead of cinnamon. When I think of cinnamon twists I think of the ones from taco bell or the Mexican ones from the store, the cinnamon is there but you will taste a bit more of the corn than usual. They're all puffy and have good crunch to them. I DONT like that the bags are a decent size but you're actually only getting 1oz, and the bags aren't aired up so theres no excuse for the bags to be half and half than less full. Save the plastic, fill it up or shrink the bags. All of mine came with whole pieces though, no breakage too much out of the bags I had so far.

All around just okay...
I've tried some heirloom snacks previously and liked a few of them. These were all new flavors to me so I was excited to try them. They all unfortunately had one major thing in common. Salt. I think, barring the salt levels, these have decent flavors. The texture of the snacks are really nice and crunchy. The problem is that the salt is overwhelming to me. Everyone in my home that tried them had the same comment, "So salty!". I don't mind salty snacks but these were too much. Even the cinnamon twists were extra salty. This was a huge bummer for us because the texture and flavor of the twists was great outside of that. Out of the three those were probably my favorite. The honey bbq were a little less overwhelmed with salt and have been slowly eaten up but the rest are just sitting. The cheese balls were actually bad enough that no one has finished a whole bag yet. Then there's my other main issue, the cost. I am a big believer in determining value by oz because it's the clearest way to see how much you're paying for packaging. On here this variety pack is being sold for 40.99 for 24 1oz packs (at the time of review), making it 1.70 per oz. My local sprouts happens to carry this brand, both the larger bags and the smaller bags. They're on sale at the moment but assuming they weren't, the larger bags are 4.99 for 4.5oz making them 1.10 per bag. To be fair to the brand, the smaller bags also being sold at Sprouts is 1.69 for the 1oz bag, but again my point is that per oz these smaller bags are much more expensive. So to me buying the larger bags and parsing them out is worth it. Overall I don't think these snacks are for us. If the salt levels were a little better they'd be a real win but for now it's not something we would purchase in the future.

excellent price for bulk pack
These puffed snacks from Pipcorn are a yummy healthier alternative, since it's baked and contains less fat content. I tried all three flavors and I'm completely sold. Well 2 of the 3 flavors anyway, since cinnamon sugar isn't really my jam but I can still snack on it. The cinnamon sugar twists taste pretty much like churros and look like them too because they are the "twists". They aren't as flavorful as the other two flavors contained in this pack. It only contains 4g of sugar and isn't overly sweet like real churros which is absolutely fine by me. As someone who is used to the salty flavor profile, this is an interesting blend of slightly savory and mildly sweet for a bag of munchies. Both the cheeseballs and the honey bbq were my favorites to snack on. The cheese balls are little sized but packs a very cheesy and strong cheese flavor which I thought was very impressive for its size. The honey bbq sauce has the right mix of tangy and sweet, goes well with the twist texture. It's very similar to the frito bbq twists, only the Pipcorn ones are puffed corn snacks making it very light/airy and not as crunchy. The bag design looks high quality and appeals to me and I'm happy to report that the snacks taste just as good as they look.

A Mixed Bag...
Overall, we've been on the fence about Pipcorn's Heirloom snacks since giving this variety pack a try. At $1.71 per bag, I expected these snacks to be out-of-this-world good, but, unfortunately, they are middle-of-the-road, at best. When compared to the more well known brands in the marketplace the flavors are comparable, but not better in any distinguishable way. Of the flavors included in this variety pack the cinnamon twists have been the favorite in our household, but no one has found the honey BBQ palatable. Additionally, the cheeseballs are decent... but they are incredibly salty. So much so, that it is hard to enjoy a full 1 ounce bag of the snack. At most, our kids want a few of the cheeseballs at a time, which results in a lot of half-eaten bags laying around the house... which turn into stale cheeseballs if they aren't found and sealed up within an hour. In short, I just don't see the value here - When they are on sale, folks can get 40 packs of 1 ounce snacks from other brands for $15 to $20. At $41 for a 24 pack, I just don't see the value here... If the flavors were unique or outstanding it would be a different story... but at present we will see 16 of the bags in this box consumed (some half consumed due to salt overload) and eight bags that will end up being donated or handed off to someone else. The cost simply isn't justified here... but the snacks are decent. 3/5 stars, overall!
