Review: Produced an even and gorgeous color and there were many to choose from. - The Rit Dye color dye came out perfectly on one of my favorite lightweight hoodies. The process was simple and the instructions were very clear. I highly recommend. Review: Follow the instructions & trust the process - Highly recommend following the directions on Rit’s website vs. what’s on the bottle. Also use a kitchen scale to make sure your ratios are correct. I dyed a satin set (polyester with nylon liner). I was scared at first because the nylon got super dark immediately, but the polyester looked pretty much the same. I thought I was going to have a two tone outfit, but eventually the polyester caught up with the nylon. I had the fabric in the dye bath for the full hour and the color is very even. I do wish it was a little darker, given that I 4x the minimum amount of dye called for, but I’m still happy with the results, especially given the price point of the dye. I used sapphire blue.

Great polymer Dye
Will dye polymer pistol lowers beautifully. Enough for 2-3 lowers.

Synthetic tie dye
So, fyi, this color mixed with the graphite color will NOT make a darker brown! Instead it makes a medium dark dusty purple color. It's actually a very pretty color purple, but it wasn't the color I was going for! I was a little disappointed in the saturation, but i guess it could've just been that the fabric could only take so much color, before it couldn't anymore. I tied up a white 100% poly zip up hoodie, scrunch style, and (almost) boiled it for over an hour, flipping the garment occasionally, with enough water to completely cover the hoodie plus an inch or so. I mixed the entire bottle of brown and the entire bottle of graphite. The end result was not bright and vibrant, but muted with darker patterns. There was zero white anywhere, other then the plastic zipper.

A little goes a long way
Works wo default. Used to dye an nylon frame for an rc car. I used too much and it came out bergundy.

Doesn't work well with front load washer
I purchased a few bottles to dye my down comforter, but the dye didn't take. Also, I have a front load washer not top load - so I couldn't put it anywhere large to soak. I purchased a very large storage tub, but that caused a lot of issue when I was transferring it to my wash. I need to find a better way to dye in the front load.

BJD dye recommended
Dyemore is excellent for dying resin. It dyes evenly and you don't have to sit there hours and hours for results.

Never try this please!!
Don't invest in this. I used it in my gym shorts made of polyester and did not dye an inch!!! Did not work at all. I used it in another garment as wel,l made of polyester and nylon and surprisingly did not work either. I tried with a third polyester gap and did not work. Please don't waste your money on this. If I can give half star or less I will!

I bought 2 pairs of Eddoyee Women's Casual Pants from Amazon. One navy and one beige. Loved the navy and wear it often, they are so so comfortable and flattering it feels like you do not have pants on. I fond the beige too light still wanted to keep them. Decided to tint them, on Amazon found this Rit DyeMore. That die was good for polyester. I ordered brown. The instructions were very easy. I had a stainless steel pot that I do not use, it worked perfectly on my stove top. Did not make a mess!! I did not want it too dark, therefore I watched as I stirred and when I saw the color I wanted, I removed it from the pot. Time is indicated between 5 to 30 minutes; I did 15 minutes. Follow the instructions, bring your water at a low boiling point and keep it at that temperature all through the process. Follow the instructions they are very easy. The colored pants look a little wrinkled, I will give them a few minutes in the drier and they will good to go.
