Deco Art Americana Chalky Finish Paint 8oz, Primitive, 8 oz, Gray,Brown

The best paint. So easily used on wood love the color love the outcome of product. Works very well.

I used this chalk paint on my mantle. The color was a really pretty light gray. It was thicker than regular latex paint but it still went on easily and covered nicely. The mantle was a cherry wood color and I only needed one coat of this to create than cool distressed look that I was striving for. I did also buy some gray wax to finish it but I actually liked the color of this so much that I didn't bother with that. I highly recommend this paint.

My first time refinishing a piece of furniture. I love this chalk paint! I bought the wax to seal it which gave it a light sheen (not shiny) and smooth finish. The entire process was very easy from start to finish. The color (primitive) is perfect! Agree with others the color is hard to describe so please see picture. It was very easy to work with. I wound up using two plus coats bc I made a mistake and painted this outside in the FL summer heat which apparently caused it to crack. Honestly the cracks were kind of pretty just not the look I was going for. I used about 70% of the can. Again I did more coats than normally needed so I suspect likely would’ve used much less (maybe half the can) if the paint didn’t crack. Dries fast. I got this done in a weekend. I could’ve done this likely all in one day but I wanted to give it plenty of time to dry.

This is my favorite brand of chalk paint! It's not cheap but it looks great. I used this color with a stencil on a black background and it looks fantastic!!!

I love this paint! Beautiful color and just the vintage chalk look I was hoping for. The only reason I gave it four stars is because in my opinion it is kind of expensive for the amount you receive. I wish they had a more affordable larger option. It really is a great color and chalk paint!

I bought my first jar of this at Home Depot and needed more for another project. The pricing is comparable so I figured I would buy it on Amazon despite the conflicting reviews on all of Deco Art Americana. This is the same stuff I bought in the store and I was happy with it. I'm not sure this would cover as much as it says - I used it for a bed frame project - but for my purposes it was great.

I used this to fix up and old crib and dresser for our babies nursery the room looks amazing !

Ya la había utilizado, y la he comprado en Amazon por su precio competitivo, no el mejor pero al menos en mi zona no muchos comercios la tienen disponible en stock. Como ya sabía la pintura es una gozada y efectivamente no hace falta utilizar imprimación, cubre perfectamente en dos o tres pasadas. Repetiré.

Wow !!! Iv used 4 types of chalk paint in the past this is by far the best , yes its small but definetly goes a long way .One pot did 2 small lamp tables a mirrow and a large candle stick with two coats of paint on each .The colour is loverly .

No recomiendo la compra de este tipo de artículos. Llegaron secas y con un olor nauseabundo. Supongo que es debido a que vienen de América. Además, se demoraron mucho en la entrega.

Exactly as advertised. This is a thick paint, so a damp brush will go a long way in ease of application. A very unique colour that is difficult to describe, maybe a creamy off white with grey undertones. Great overall product at a fraction of the cost of their main competitor. Photo is primitive color.
