You'll need a decent soldering iron but very good product
The board for the PS5 controller is fairly thick and hard to solder/desolder unless you have a decent soldering iron. Typically I just cut the old potentiometer out which makes it a bit easier. Otherwise this is a direct drop in for the originals, very happy with this purchase

Works great to fix stick drift, no soldering necessary
Worked very well for its purpose. NOTE: To fix the drift issues, I only needed to remove the tiny white plastic piece with the little spring inside the potentiometer (see photo) and replace it with the ones in my controller. I DID NOT HAVE TO SOLDER ANYTHING This set is great, because it comes with several extra just in case I need to fix it again in the future.

It works good. Just need someone good at soldering because to replace it you need to solder

Needed Just the Potentiometers
If you don't want to desolder the joysticks from your PS5 controller's PCB, there's actually quite an easy solution! Stick drift for the PS5 is generally caused by the potentiometers wearing down. They are little white discs with metal rings sitting inside the pictured green housings. With a gentle prying tool and tweezers, you can easily remove the old potentiometers from your PS5 and replace them with new ones from this kit. This is how I fixed two PS5 controllers I got off eBay, and now they're good as new. No soldering needed!
