MOVE SPEED HB7450 512GB SSD for PS5 with Heatsink, PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 Internal Solid State Drive - Up to 7450MB/s, 3D NAND Storage Expansion Compatible with PS5, Desktops and Laptops

I installed this in my PS5 for some extra space to install games into and it's working exactly as expected. Install was surprisingly easy, just two notes if you do this: 1. The plastic cover for the PS5 is tricky to get off. You pull the top part out while pushing the panel down. Many guides weren't helpful here but you don't have to push too hard, just out and down. 2. There is a little screw and cylindrical metal standoff inside the PS5 expansion spot already that can be used to mount the card correctly. I didn't see any guides reference this but you move the little standoff to the corresponding spot where the card half hole is at the end just underneath the card and then it's supported nicely. I can now install so many games on my system and it's actually completely changed how I think about downloading and keeping games, it's such a relief to not care anymore about file sizes! And playing even current gen titles with big open worlds seems to work fine from it, no notable difference installed in the console storage or this.

So I recently got another MOVE SPEED product I wanted for a while, at a great price thanks to prime and it's discounts. It's fast feels well made and reliable. (1T portable SSD) Loved it. So I decided to go with this nmve m.2 SSD 2T to upgrade my PS4 pro with a fast external bank so far so good product arrived fast unharmed (untested) Edit* I have since tested this product it's great and fast. I found the heat sink it was in the packaging. I'm using an INEO USB 3.1 M. 2 SSD Enclosure for it. It's a fanned Heatsink. Combined they work fast and stays cool even with graphics heavy games and loads. And you can use the provided graphene sticker and heat sink with it

It is an excellent-quality SSD, with more than enough speed for almost any type of use, and its build quality makes it clear that it will have a long lifespan.

DO NOT BUY FOR PS5!!!!! The description on Amazon states this is plug and play for PS5. It most certainly is not. Not only did my PS5 not even recognize it, the installation instructions that come with it dp not even MENTION the PS5.

I researched & watched prices on 2TB m.2 SSD’s that were compatible with my PS5 for over a month before I finally bought this and it paid off. I seriously considered just buying a Samsung or WD because I was worried a cheaper drive wouldn’t be compatible, or would be slower than advertised. But I’m really glad I didn’t buy one of those for $120 or more. This drive is probably as generic as they come but it’s far from generic in compatibility & speed! Once I attached the included heatsink, installed it in my PS5 and booted it up it instantly recognized it, did a quick speed check (6,700 MB/s not bad at all!) and then asked if I was ready to format it. Speaking of formatting, another thing I was pleasant surprised about was how much available free space after formatting, 1.93 TBs! I’ve re-installed all my games I had to delete from my internal SSD to make room for newer games and I’ve still got almost a terabyte free. If you’re on the fence about whether or not to get this drive for your PS5, don’t be; it’s very affordable and it works flawlessly!

For the posted price I bought it at ($255) it is definitely worth the value, loads really fast, slightly over 2tb of usable space which is awesome, clear instructions on how to install heatsink and overall great quality, haven't had any issues and I've used it on some really hot days with no issues at all, time will tell but so far it's been a great choice.
