Good Look, Bad Design. Very Bad.
Absolutely not designed for a CA plate. Had to bend the plate and use a lot of swear words to get it to go, because I liked the design more than the comparable Competition Werkes mount. It's a solid build, but ffs, the instructions skimmed over the wiring; the connector must be snipped off and the entire wiring rerouted. Not hard to figure out, but the instructions really should be more thorough. Anyway, it's utterly impossible to put the bottom screws in a CA plate without drilling, so I'm hoping there isn't too much rattle. If so, maybe a couple bits of rubber or something. Anyway, good mount, but fitment is an...ordeal. NOT a 30 minute job. UPDATE: The center, presumably resin, disc that is the friction hinge...bearing..thing that allows the mount to turn to access the key hole...yeah the screws in that just stripped themselves out leaving the plate dangling by the wire. I can attest to the quality of the wire, because it was the only thing holding the plate on for the 40 mile ride home. It didn't last a week and I didn't touch any of those screws while mounting. Just bad design as far as I can tell.
