Bought as a fun gift. Presume it worked ok.

I thought these were awful after Santa delivered them to our kids. First day in water and they were just a little larger and slimy. Having persisted and washed them down they continued to grow to approx 4-6 times the size, to the point that one could fit inside the other. We took it out swiftly so the large one didn’t shrink and break. But great fun.

Saw this and just had to buy it for my son’s stocking for Christmas. He loves anything to do with sloths and for the price this item is worth every penny. He will love it for sure! Nicely packaged and looks like a decent quality item. Great for a stocking filler for those sloth lovers!

Fun gift

I was not overwhelmed by this - it did not grow particularly much and felt slimy when removed. A fun novelty item maybe but do not expect too much

Thought these were very small and not worth the money. UNTIL I saw them growing and fully grown. My grandchildren loved them and kept an eye on them growing!

Handy little pass the parcel present, but of course the impact can’t be seen for a couple of days. Follow the instructions, immerse in water etc, and it really expands on it’s initial size. It does take a while, but hey, it’s a sloth, what’d ya expect!? Shrinks back down again in a few days after it’s removed from water. Attached a couple of before/after pics next to an elephant to give a better idea of the relative increase.

I bought my son one of these from a card shop a few years ago and it became a character in our house. The sloth got damaged so I was pleased to find this online. It was a little bit more expensive than the original one but brought a smile to my sons face so it was worth it.

Top product! Now we are scared though that it won't stop growing anymore.... and once it will takeover our apartment....

Für unseren kleinen großen Faultierfan hab ich zum Geburtstag dieses Aufquell-Faultier besorgt. Tatsächlich hat es aber ziemlich lang gedauert, bis sich die erste Veränderung gezeigt hat, das hatte ich etwas schneller erwartet. Dann wäre der Stauneffekt auch größer gewesen. Nach einer Nacht war es dann sichtlich größer, aber immer noch nicht ganz fertig. Wenn man es aus dem Wasser nahm, hat es sich etwas komisch angefühlt, glitschig. Wir haben es dann wieder trocknen lassen, aufgepasst, dass es nicht vielleicht innen schimmelt, es ist innen hohl, aber mit einer recht dicken Wand. Seitdem steht es im Setzkasten, immer noch witzig, aber ins Wasser müssen wir es jetzt nicht nochmal legen. Als physikalisches Experiment wars für unser Kind etwas langweilig.
