Works great under my baseball cap and brimmed hat.
I do a lot of sporting clay shooting, and it is usually pretty cold when I start out. I got these skull caps to use under my hats, and they work great! When it is cold they keep my head a little warmer. When it starts to get warmer, they are not too hot. When it does get warm outside, they are small enough to roll up and tuck in a pocket. I love these little skull caps!Tip: They are a little long, as others have mentioned. I roll the bottom inward, and that makes them fit perfectly. It also makes the bottom of the cap more like a headband. My head is a size 7 1/4, and they fit great. They will also stretch to a much larger size.

Useful for shaved heads
As hinted at in the review title, I shave my head. While I do have some "cabbie" style caps and a bowler hat, I am not much for accessorizing, aside from a (non-smart) watch. But, a very stern elderly woman stopped me one day last summer during a long walk and scolded me (lovingly but again, sternly) for not covering my head against the sun, and went on to tell me about her experience from cancer caused by excess sunlight exposure. So, I've tried to wear a hat when it's sunny out, but again, I'm just not a hat guy. But when I saw these, I just had to try them. While these skull caps are obviously not going to look as good on a person as compared to a hat of any kind or a bandanna/head scarf, I got these for the function factor and they work well in that regard. It's still winter at the time of writing this, so I haven't been able to wear one of these caps very much, but the few bright, sunny days we've had where I went for a walk, it was nice to slip one of these caps on and not feel like I had a heavy piece of cloth balanced on my head. These to me feel like a very lightweight, breathable beanie. I've been wearing a beanie on cold days, so wearing a beanie on a cold, dark morning before work, then coming home to a warm, sunny afternoon after work and wearing one of these is a much more natural transition for me.There's only one nuance that concerns me with these caps, but I won't be able to really verify it until it gets hot here: I get hot easily, and since I shave my head, my scalp gets oily. It's felt like the cap I'm wearing during such times might be slipping on my scalp a little. But for one, I'm still getting used to wearing these caps, and two, as previously mentioned, I'll know for sure when the hot days come and I go out for a walk or especially a jog. I'll try to remember to update this review with my findings when such times come. Now, I also do ride a motorcycle and bicycle on occasion. While I have no intention of using these caps as liners, I can say with certainty that, as long as the caps fit your head well, they will work fine as helmet liners as well.I'm pretty happy with these, though again my use may be a bit niche. But even for their intended purposes, these skull caps seem like they'll work nicely and will last a reasonable amount of time with proper care.

Too big.
Would be good for someone with a lot of hair. I can still use them by folding the bottom inward before putting on my helmet. But if I were to put it on normal it is down past my nose. -_-

Perfect for Bald Men, Under Helmet
I love the Headshion Cooling Skull Caps in wearing these after a nice bald shave while riding my motorcycle. The fit is very cooling, comfortable and secure. The material is sweat wicking and in wearing underneath my helmet does not cause me to perspire much. I received a 2-pack in black color, and I couldn't be more pleased. I washed mine upon initial receiving and after drying they still hold up well and was not warped in any way whatsoever. I will be ordering more of these as I really love these cooling caps and would highly recommend them.

Large Is Too Big and I Wear L-XL Baseball caps
Review Of:Headshion Cooling Skull Caps for Men Women,2-Pack Lightweight Beanie Helmet LinerPrice: $8.99Besides a sizing issue, I am pretty happy with these for the price. I read "L for regular head, M for small head." Since I have always worn L or XL fitted ball caps, I was actually a bit concerned that a L in this would be super tight on me. Actually, it was very loose fitting and I wish I would have gone with a M.Size aside, I do find these comfortable and just enough to keep my ears warm under my ski helmet. Now that is skiing in above freezing temps (around 35-40 degrees), but nonetheless, they did what I wanted them to do. These are pretty thin and lightweight, so I wouldn't wear them alone or even under a helmet if the temps were below freezing. For the price, I would recommend these if you just want a lightweight under your helmet layer.

size is absolutely huge
I went with the Lg because i usually wear a L-XL hat. well, the skull cap fit more like a 3 or 4xl. The thing is absolutely HUGE. definitely order the size smaller when placing your order
