I love the build quality of this security key. They work great! Don't be discouraged by the often returned or "I had to set up an account to use the device" comments. If you are using as a FIDO2 device, you don't need to set up an account or pay money for a license. Don't scan the QR code on the back of the package. Go through the security key setup with your password manager, email account, or Domain admin account @ MS365, etc.

Work great for what they are. Wish they had some storage space for encrypted files or something like that, but they do what they're supposed to do.

I purchased the Thales security key with high hopes for secure and seamless authentication, but my experience has been disappointing. First, there is no software or app available for Apple devices that allows you to set up a PIN on this key. Without this critical setup feature, the key cannot be used with certain financial institutions that require PIN-protected authentication. While it does appear to work with Gmail, the lack of clear instructions or setup videos made the process unnecessarily difficult. I searched extensively for guidance, but there are virtually no resources available to help users troubleshoot or configure the key effectively. To make matters worse, customer service has been very poor. I reached out for assistance, but responses were either delayed or unhelpful, leaving me frustrated and unsure how to fully utilize the product. If you’re an Apple user or need a security key for broader applications like financial institutions, I would recommend looking elsewhere. The lack of support and clear instructions makes this product impractical for many use cases.

I thought this was going to be great, but it’s only good for one account, not multiple. If you want a secure way to open and save credit files, you’d need one for each account you want to protect. I’m not buying ten of these just to keep my accounts safe. What a waste of money and time. They could’ve mentioned upfront that it’s only good for a single account. I can’t even figure out how to format it to reuse on another account. This should work like a master key USB plug. The idea is good, but the results right now are disappointing.

This is a quality device. Bought a few recently from varied vendors, this one my favorite.

The build quality on this thing is fantastic. I don't know what else to say. A lot of them I look at and I see they're made of plastic they've got two different things sticking out either side and they just look flimsy. You know the look you've seen it. This well this is the kind of thing I would expect to see in the military or in a corporate setting where people are not going to respect the durability of the object. And well it's also pretty cost-effective. It's cheap compared to the other ones as well. So no regrets this one's my favorite

Parfait avec mon PC desktop, il faut juste avoir un port USB-A facilement accessible, sous écran par exemple, ou prévoir un petit câble USB dans le cas contraire. Ce dispositif est adéquat pour sécuriser et faciliter toutes les connexions au Net/Web, tous les protocoles FIDO2, OTP, WebAuthn... testés fonctionnent bien.

Limited number of credentials unlike my similarly priced Yubikey. No easy support like ykman to list stored credentials (to ensure that I have at least 2 keys for every relying party).
