Berghaus Men's Hillwalker 3-in-1 Gore-Tex Waterproof Jacket, Durable, Breathable Rain Coat

Great fit, I went for a L, which is my normal t-shirt size and it's comfortable fitting. Definitely not tight and it's loose enough to get a jumper on underneath. Quality materials as you would expect from the Berghaus brand, silky sleeves inside means your arms go in easily. The internal fleece is quite thin, ideal to give you that bit extra warmth on a cool day. The hood I had no issues with, its adjustable as shown in my pictures you will see once adjusted, it doesn't sag over your face. It's ideal for wearing a cap if you don't adjust it. I haven't tested the waterproof aspect yet, but goretex is rated from 28 000 mm+ so as long as QC wasn't sleeping when it was made, it should stand up to any British weather. Good buy!

This is my second Berghaus jacket and once again I am very pleased with the quality, comfort and fit of the jacket. It seems to be totally waterproof although I haven't been out in a real deluge yet but wore it in a pretty heavy downpour and not a drop got through. My previous Berghaus was a Mera Peak bought about 20 years ago and still going strong (although looking a little dated now) so I have high expectations for this one too.

Superb versatile waterproof & windproof jacket. With three different options of wearing the two parts it makes for a great jacket/fleece for any occasion. Lightweight too. I love that this has a hood that you always have with you but can be rolled up into the collar instead of having a jacket without or a jacket with a permanently flapping around hood when not actually required to be on your head. Five stars from me although I've not had this very long so can't comment on it's longevity etc but this oozes quality so cannot see any reason for ever wanting to change my review.

Overall I like my purchase. The hood arrangements and pockets are nice an simple and the whole thing is breathable warm and dry. The slight problem comes when wearing the fleece and the outer shell together. you clip the fleece to the outer shell at the neck and on the end of the arms. However, when putting it on, after having got the first sleeve in, it can be tricky to find the second sleeve and not put your arm straight into the outer shell by mistake. You get used to it but initially, if you are in a hurry because it is pouring with rain, it can be inconvenient. However, once on, the combined inner and outer jacket system is very comfortable and warm without being sweaty. The whole thing is quite light as well.

Liked all good quality good price also has detachable fleece with a zip.

Die Berghaus Hillwalker tritt bei mir die Nachfolge einer North Face Triclimate Evolution an, die nach fast sieben Jahren damit beginnt sich in ihre Bestandteile zu zerlegen. Da die Nachfolger leider keine Innentaschen mehr besitzen ist es die Hillwalker geworden. Die Verarbeitung macht auf den ersten Blick einen guten Eindruck, lediglich der Reisverschluss am Übergang zum integrierten Kinnschutz aus Fleece geht etwas schwer. Die Innenjacke aus Fleece ist recht dünn. Ich denke es ist daher eher eine Jacke für die kühle Herbst oder Frühlingszeit. Für den Winter dürfte sie zu dünn sein. Größe M passt mir bei 181cm und 70kg sehr gut. Der einzige Nachteil im Gegensatz zur alten Nort Face Jacke sind die fehlenden Belüftungsmöglichkeiten im Armbereich. Den ersten leichten Regen hat die Jacke tadellos überstanden. Nach meinen ersten Eindrücken kann ich die Jacke auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

Ho iniziato a portare questa giacca a dicembre e ne sono pienamente soddisfatto. La vestibilità è ottima ed il livello delle lavorazioni non è da meno. Con la sua imbottitura ed un altro pile mi ha tenuto al caldo anche a diversi gradi sotto zero. La tenuta a neve è pioggia è perfetta e non passa una goccia. Il cappuccio, una volta regolato, è molto stabile e non si sposta nemmeno se si cammina controvento. Le tasche sono un po' piccole, ma nulla di drammatico. Tolta l'imbottitura il guscio resta confortevole anche se le temperature si aggirano sui venti gradi. Il pile interno è confortevole e può essere portato anche da solo. Il prezzo mi pare adeguato ad un capo che si può indossare dall'autunno alla primavera.

Jacke macht einen qualitativ hochwertigen Eindruck, Sehr praktisch: Die Ärmel des Fleece Innenteils sind innen glatt, so bleibt man beim ausziehen nicht am Fleece Futter hängen und zieht nicht den halben Ärmel mit heraus. Fleece Innenteil ist wie schon an anderer Stelle rezensiert recht dünn, als super warme Winterjacke daher wohl eher nicht geeignet... Bei 1,79 m und 72 kg passt Größe M auch mit einem Fleece drunter noch gut, wer etwas größer und schwerer ist sollte vermutlich eher L wählen.. Absolut empfehlenswert !

Marca che é sempre una garanzia, prodotto top, pile interno un po' leggerino se lo si usa in città, in montagna e mentre ci si muove é ideale. Testato il guscio in goretex sono un bell'acquazzone e la tenuta é stata ottima. Un po' lunghi i tempi di consegna ma sono stati rispettati.

Prodotto di qualità ad un prezzo ragionevole. Tutto secondo le aspettative. Non ancora provata sotto la pioggia, ma sono certo che non deluderà.
