Will this help with support for elbow ligament problem?

I can not give a better answer than what was previously posted " I can't speak for every dog, but my dog hurt his front right foot jumping from furniture. He was limping. I tried to make a support for him, but found this product online. It helped my dog get through the healing process. It supports the knee area just above the foot. after a week he was walking fine. I'm struggling with the sizing. i have a 10yo papillon, 18lbs and her measurement is exactly 3.75" with my finger included. should i get the s/m?

I would get x small if you can. My boy is a Shetland Sheepdog, legs are longer then my Papillon.
