The lead is soft enough to make good and legible impressions, but hard enough to not frequently break. Lasts a long time too.

Great leads for artwork
Been looking for a decent lead that works smoothly on certain art papers, as well as not breaking all the time. I finally found what I was looking for. I just hope Amazon will actually stock this on a regular basis. Waiting for a month (even Prime members) is a bit much.
