Jolly Phonics Magnetic Letters

These are pre-cursive with joined letters , perfect for teaching /ch/, /er/, /oi/ etc

Super cool! Comes with all the phonetic sounds! Great for spelling, learning sounds and making words. Voals are one color and consonants other color!

I use these teaching English to children in Japan. I've found lots of different ways to use them and the students always really respond to them well. If you're teaching reading and especially if you're using Jolly Phonics, you should really get these. I miss them every time I don't have them.

I did not understand fromt he product description that this product came with dipthongs, consonant and vowel blends. It is too complicated to use with my young students, and the script is a fancy italic d'nealian, which is confusing for young students.

There are a goodly amount of letters included (106) with enough duplicates that will enable your pupils (or child) to build many words without running out. Obviously these match up to the Jolly Phonics curriculum perfectly and my pupils love building their tricky words with these. The quality of the letters is average with magnets that are only just strong enough to stay stuck to a dry erase board and will usually hang straight.

Para inglés es un material muy bueno, basado en los cuadernillos y demás material de "Jolly Phonics". Las letras son minúsculas e incluyen todos los sonidos de los cuadernillos (las letras sueltas, vowel teams, consonant blending...). I find the magnets too weak. They slide off the metalic board too easily. Very disappointed… I do not recommend.

Très bonne idée. Je suis anglaise et on a écrit "ant" (fourmis) en anglais avec le but de reconnaitre le "a" qui dans ce cas est le seul lettre bleu dans le mot. la semaine prochaine on fera le "b". Les enfants aiment découvrir un nouveau mot sur leur réfrigérateur de temps en temps. Un peu de "fun" cache l'apprentissage des lettres. Les couleurs en étant différents (selon sa fonction, voyelle ou consonant) c'est parfait. Plus tard on utilisera les lettres joints (ou, oo) etc. Je suis très contente avec mon achat.
