This is AMAZING ! We kept going back and forth trying to decide to spend the $185.00 that is made for my car or this one after very long debate we decided to give this one a try & we couldn’t have been more pleased with it. it is so easy to install it only takes a couple minutes with one person doing the install so even faster if 2 people do it together, it’s very sturdy & quiet I do not even know it’s in my car & it did the job perfectly & it fits my car almost as if it was made for it. my dogs have never been behind a barrier before but you wouldn’t know if they didn’t mind at all matter of fact they have never been so well behaved in the car especially on a 9 hour 1 way road trip we were pleasantly surprised at this barrier all around and if I could give it more stars I would. I highly recommend this barrier DO NOT waste your money on the expensive ones like we almost did because this one is the only one you will ever need.

This product was easy to install and does an excellent job of keeping my two Ridgebacks from leaning or jumping over the back seat. Also, grates are small enough that it even keeps them from drooling on my back seat. It is pretty sturdy but may not hold up to a dog pawing or chewing at it. I used it for a very long road trip and had zero issues. I did use a couple of zip ties for extra stability and a more secure hold. It is definitely a good buy for the money.

Awkward to install but stayed in place with the use of a few zip ties for a 12 hour drive. My vehicle is a Lexus RX350. Definitely easier to install with 2 people.

My 50 lbs shepherd mix doesn't like car rides and can fit through anything to get to my lap on the front seat. She acts like a cat when she's determined! This barrier has made it easier to block her from being able to reach the front but for my 2009 Rav4, it doesn't cover the entire width of the car. She can still squeeze through the sides and we have to stuff it with pillows and blankets to make up for the rest of the space. This barrier is great for my large retriever who can't fit through at all or dogs that aren't nervous in the car. The barrier is adjustable but stretched out it doesn't fit. I should've measured beforehand to make sure it worked on my vehicle so I suggest measuring!

This works great in our Toyota Highlander. We had been fighting a losing battle with our dog for a few years before finally finding this barrier. The sneaky dude was getting past every barrier we put in his way, either finding a way under, or working his nose around the outside to do some snuffling in our ears. With this installed behind the rear seats, and a comfy pillow in the back for him, we're all much happier as we travel. He no longer feels he has to be up front, and we don't have to spend our trip constantly pushing him back into the rear seat. It takes a few minutes to put up & take down, but with the photo I took I always know which "holes" I want to put the cords through to have it sitting perfectly in place.

Excellent dog barrier. I have a Honda CRV. It worked perfectly. Super easy to put up and take down. Would highly recommend it to anyone.

I bought 2 of these since I planned on putting one in both of my vehicles. Unfortunately I found out quickly with the first one I installed in my truck that it wasn’t going to stop my large dog from getting into the front of my truck even with this barrier in place behind my front seat! Biggest reason being there’s two smallest pieces that go on each side of a larger barrier to adjust the length to fit your width of your vehicle. The width of the two smaller pieces is fine, but the height is way too small making it easy for the dog to either climb over the top or get underneath the smaller pieces depending where you mount them? Other issue with these is their only held in place on the back of your seat with straps that go under your head rests. So the whole barrier can move back and forth fairly easily. I ended up taking the other one I bought and took the 2 smaller ends from the second one and added them to the first one I put in my truck. Lowered the original smaller ends as far as I could and then added the second smaller ends to the other barrier above the other smaller ends to make a higher end on both sides of the one barrier I have in my truck. Of course this makes the second barrier I bought useless without the two ends I stoled to use in my truck with the first barrier I did use. So with two barriers you can Mickey Mouse a barrier where it will sort of work for the most part. Least keep your larger dog in the back of your vehicle. But I’m afraid if the dog really tries hard enough and puts its full weight against this barrier the dog may be able to just push the barrier over the top of the seat and get in the front regardless? So far he’s not tried to get in the front that way. Hopefully he won’t? This really only works for dogs that are fairly behaved and don’t mind staying in the back seat by themselves. Unfortunately, I haven’t really found any good barriers to go behind a seat or cargo area yet? Kind of like car seat covers, none really fit perfectly. All seem to have issues that you have to live with if you’re going to use them! Same goes with these barriers sadly!

I took a star off due to the time it took to install, but honestly this was my first time putting one of these in, so a lot of the time was really me trying different configurations to get the fit just right. In total I probably spent 20-30 minutes installing this, but in reality it could have been done in 5-10 minutes. For me the hard part was I'm 6-3" it this was going in an Outback....not a lot of room for someone my size, but again I was also messing with the setup of the side panels to get a "perfect fit"....which my dogs care nothing about. It fits well, doesn't rattle, keeps the dogs in back, and I can see through it just fine. So I'm happy with it.

I used this product to keep my 90 lb. dog out of the front seat of my Ford escape. I installed it behind the front seat but it would work equally well installed on the rear seats to keep the dog in the cargo area. This barrier is heavy duty, safe for the dog and for the vehicle. My dog can't go over or under the barrier.

I got this, not for any animal, but rather to prevent light stuff to move from the the 3rd row onwards, and it worked. The instructions are straight forward.

Works great and pretty easy to install. Make sure it’s tight so it doesn’t rattle. Once it’s secure it’s great.
