I purchased these to re-enforce the magnets on our magnetic electronic calendar that we have on our refrigerator. The magnets are incredibly strong & the hook provides depth so that the calendar frame is supported on each bottom corner. The calendar had magnets on the back, but not strong enough to keep it from slipping as we used the touch screen. These magnets are strong enough that there is no slippage at all. They are perfectly sized to not look bad. They are hard to scoot because they are so strong, but it can be done with effort. Exactly what we needed!

I saw feedback on Amazon where someone posted a hint saying to tape a strong magnet on the exterior of the windshield where you'll be gluing your rear view mount back on after it fell off for whatever reason. This hint was a great idea! I did that today. When I got the mount near the magnet, the magnet sucked the mount tight.

Yes, it's a strong magnet for it's size and my needs. BUT, the problem I have is the fact that it came chipped and marked up like it was used before me. ??? I was considering returning it but the hassle of going to a UPS Store and providing shipping materials made me decide to keep it... begrudgingly. Quality Control people. I know it was only $9, BUT, still... Please.

I bought this magnet to clean the gravel in my back garden from nails and screws I keep finding since we moved into our home years ago! This magnet is very strong and simply brilliant. I found that attaching it to a rake or a gardening fork allows for going through the gravel easily and the nails, screws and even some rocks with enough iron in them simply stick to it. Very highly recommended product.
