this thing is fun and easy to use everyone loves to play from my 65 yr old husband to my 6 yr old granddaughter. it straightens out your putts and is fun to use and easy to set up

Best thing was not having to go retrieve the ball after each shot. I like the construction of the putting holes in that they are coated with a kind of rubberized plastic so the ball dropping into the hole(s) or in the catch basin behind the ball and which makes it quieter thus not driving everyone in the house crazy! LOL! The mat eventually lays flat and rolls true. Having both a small and large cups is nice. 95% of my practice I use the smaller cup. This item only works well on a flat hard surface. Forget carpet. I really enjoy the stress relief this practice aid provides. Frankly I'm amazed at how well I have improved the use of my new putter and how much better I am at striking the ball and learning pace. Obviously on a real putting green its going to be different but still.... The one drawback that I can point to is that the return chute does not work really well and is bent off to one side so that the ball is lucky to roll back onto the mat. But hey, you deal with it. That's about it. I think this practice aid is a good value for the money. Oh, btw. the mirror that comes with it and the arched rings I didnt find much use for and they are in the back of my closet.

I have had 2 putting mats in the past and never satisfied. Came across this one and loved the price and features. First of all, any putting mat in this price range is going to be faster than a normal green. But the elevated holes help with distance and feel. I had one that was not elevated and if just tapped a putt like a 3 footer it would go all the way off the end of the mat. Terrible for distance control. This mat like all is about as fast as a fast green on a high dollar course. It is as good as you are going to get unless you are willing to spend 4 times what this costs. Second of all, any mat you get will have ridges from being rolled up. They will go down in about 3 days or less. I can’t believe negative reviews about this. What do people expect? Give it a little time is all. The ball return is very handy and works like a charm. The look is very appealing. And the different size holes are awesome. Love the different lines on the mat. Really helps with alignment. All in all I am very pleased and impressed with this putting mat. I have mine on laminate flooring and sliding is not an issue. The included gates are nice but I don’t use that often. I did purchase one of the alignment mirrors for $10 on here. I only use it occasionally like the gates. For the price you are not going to get any better. I definitely recommend and would buy again with no hesitation.

Grandson loves this for practiing his putting during the winter months when he cannot play golf.

It’s fine. Good deal for the price, but the mat is not actual turf. The mat is a soft carpet with the image of turf printed on it. I’m enjoying it but definitely not something that’s simulating any ball friction.
