This is amazing. Lovely earthenware pot designed especially for cooking rice. '1 go' of rice is easily enough for 2-3 people. Fill the pot to the first line with rice and then then fill to the second (higher) line with water. Put the pot on the hob on a low heat and let it bubble for around 15 minutes then shut the heat off and leave it on the hob to steam for around another 15-20 minutes. Fluff the rice with a bamboo paddle then you're good to go. A different experience to eating it from a regular pot (it's nice to put this pot on the table to serve) and the rice itself does taste better. I would recommend letting it sit in some hot water for an hour or so and then give it a thorough rinse before the first use, just to draw out any impurities from the clay - the water might look a little grey afterwards. Like a regular donabe, try not to clean it with detergent or keep it to an absolute minimum.

Be aware that if you buy it in the UK you will need to pay the import tax. This is almost £18:00. Not impressed at all.

Product is good but I send them back as required bigger one but lose both money and product. Hope Amezon will refund of my lose.
