A very soothing, gentle and effective cream with a buttery texture and sandalwood fragrance. It is a delight to apply it and massage face. I look forward to it everytime. It has improved my skin texture and glow after two months of use.

I recently bought this cream and have been using it as a night cream, and overall I’m quite satisfied with it. Texture & Consistency: The cream is very thick and heavy, so a little goes a long way. When applied at night, it leaves a visible reddish tone, similar to real red sandalwood paste, which may look unusual at first. Don’t panic — it’s not irritation, it’s just the natural colour of the cream.Application Experience: Even if you apply a small amount, you can still feel the cream sitting on your skin, which confirms that it’s meant for night-time use only. It doesn’t fully absorb immediately, so I wouldn’t recommend using it during the day. Results (Morning After):By morning, the skin feels soft, hydrated, and calm. The redness disappears completely, and the face looks fresh and nourished. With regular use, it helps in skin repair and mild brightening.Fragrance: It has a natural Ayurvedic smell, not overpowering, and feels authentic rather than chemical-based.Skin Suitability:Best suited for normal to dry skin. Oily or acne-prone skin users should use a very small quantity or do a patch test first.Value for Money: For the price, the quantity and quality are worth it. Very good ... visible changes on regular use

Review by female user: Alright, so the good things first. The product has a good light weight texture and is a wonderful luxurious cream with good slip and moisturizing qualities. The fragrance is really really nice and is hands down one of the best ayurvedic smelling products out there. My dry combination skin feels well moisturized with oil after using the product continuously for a week. But that's where the good ends. If you use just this product on its own, there is almost no hydration, so make sure to put on damp face or after toner/mist as this is essentially a very good oil blend. I had purchased this thinking may be it will have good quantity of kumkumadi oil, but was disappointed to see only 0.2 gms of kumkumadi tailam in it. Applying pure kumkumadi oil gives me heating sensation, that's why I was looking for a cream and this product was highly recommended, but as you can see from the ingredients, it does not do kumkumadi heavy lifting job. And the last but most important thing is the red tint, well it doesn't disappear. Even if I leave the product on for whole night and wash off in the morning, the tint remains and then has to be washed off. My skin is really fair, so it leaves me looking visibly red, but for anyone with dusky skin, this will act as a brightening color corrector, i tested it on my husband who is dusky and it looked nice on his skin, but for people who are very fair, keep this point in mind. Overall, i found the product to be quite hyped up. I got caught in the attraction of the red colored cream, like most. Its a very good nourishing oil cream, but doesn't do much better than just applying any good eladi or nalpamaradi oil on the skin. The fragrance is seriously good, and if Shesha came up with that fragrance as a product, ill purchase that, but certainly won't be buying this cream again. Note to the brand, please use kumkumadi tailam as a major ingredient, as that's what you have put in the name. Keeping kumkumadi tailam quantity at par with other ingredients is misleading the customers, it would be better to just call this a red sandalwood cream with ayurvedic oils blend.

The texture is the only nice thing about it. This product leaves a weird brown cast on your face AND it was drying. Plus, it gave me an allergy, with little bumps spreading all across my face. Won't buy it again.

It gives gradual and natural changes in the skin. For the best result use regularly 15 to 20days for a medium tan face, use regularly 30 to 40 days for dense tan face. No steroids no whitening products. It will detan and make the skin evenly toned. I usually don't use any cosmetics or skin care products to my face also my skin is oily. Recently tried Shesham Ayurvedic Night Cream, which turned as my all in one skin care product. It is medium light in texture with slight oilness, and best quality. Completely satisfied and using my second bottle. Can suggest to friends with any skin type. 100% value for money.

The quantity of the product is too low, plus inside the product there's an air gap present. Instead of 50g there's probably only 35g, but either way the product is good.
