Mikolo Power Cage, 2000LB Power Rack with Independent Dual Pulley System, Multi-Function Home Gym Workout Machine for Cable Crossover and Squat

I was really hesitant because I thought there was no way something with this price could have longevity. It’s been 6 months and I use it at least three times a week and it’s still like the day I put it together. Whether doing pull ups or reracking after squats, it stays sturdy. The cables glide smoothly and evenly, landline attachment works great from multiple angles. I’m not setting powerlifting records but I do lift heavy. This rack and its attachments have proven to be able to handle heavy weight being slammed onto it. Assembly was pretty easy, though time consuming. All the parts came in labeled boxes and bags. I laid everything out so that all the pieces were in order, and followed the instructions. I assembled the entire thing, by myself, in a few hours. It would have been easier with an extra set of hands, but if you have any ability to think mechanically, you’ll be fine. Would definitely recommend this set up to anyone. I would definitely buy this brand again.

Listen, I was skeptical at first. $850 on a power cage seemed crazy. Took me all of 4 hours to assemble solo, some instructions not extremely clear. I found myself going to the next step before finishing the previous but overall not bad. I found 2 cons with this machine and they aren't the end of the world. 1: I had to use a lubricant/oil to lube the sliders for the cable machine. 2. The finish one the metal easily scratches. HOWEVER this cage is extremely sturdy, no creaking, doesn't wobble. Even comes with expansion bolts to bolt to the floor if you feel the need. I highly recommend this cage to anyone who is looking to build a home gym on a budget! I would also recommend to splurge for the aluminum pulleys but overall the plastic ones look to be okay. Mikolo if you're reading this you've made one hell of a product.

For me this thing has been almost perfect. Considering the value and versatility for the money. I didn’t have a ton of space and this thing is pretty damn compact for having a squat and pulley system. The pulley system is pretty smooth, not the best but better than I thought it would be with square tubing. The pulleys do feel heavier than the pulleys I use at the gym. Some exercises I can only do about half what I do at the gym. But that’s just an ego thing really same pumps. Came packaged well with everything in it. Put it together myself in about 3 hours or so. Feels really sturdy. The only real complaint I have is a bit of a design flaw. While the height selectors for the pulleys is smooth and easy to use. The handles stick out so far that you can’t fit the weights all the way down when doing squats ( pictured above) I usually just put a quick release clip on before I put any weight and it ends up giving me about an inch or 2 of clearance on each side. One more gripe is the range of motion on the pulleys could be a bit better. Some movements can’t get a great eccentric stretch. As a side note, after being happy with the squat rack I’ve ended up buying their barbell and their paddle handle rotating grip attachments ( same design as the original prime ones) and love both those too

The overall quality, fit an finish is good. Before I ordered, I noticed some of the other reviews mentioned shipping damage to some of the components but this order was extremely well packed and there was no damage at all. The company may have changed their packing method because the packing was outstanding. The cable system with the plastic pulleys is smooth, but that brings me to the first negative. The weight trolleys that slide up and down are designed in such a way that you need to balance the weight on both sides or it starts to bind. This is annoying because you basically need double the amount of plates for using both cable sides at one time. To have 20lbs of weight on each handle, you need to have 4 total 10lb plates. 2 plates on each trolley. Only other issues are with the attachments. The straight bar attachment is too small, they should increase the length of it or ditch it and provide a close grip attachment or something else. The landmine row bar is too wide and won't get used. I ended up ordering a close grip v handle for it. Otherwise it's sturdy and works well.

This is the second rack we have purchased from Mikolo. The first one was their foldable one but due to house limitations we got this one now. Assembly took about two hours, has a lot of exercise options, and it feels sturdy enough for a home gym. It came with some scratches but I guess that was the fedex guy not happy about hauling these large boxes around.

I was hesitant about this because of the price but it is actually a really awesome weight rack! I used to work at a gym + have a kinesiology degree (exercise science) so I have spent a lot of time around gym equipment. The weight rack/cable/landmine makes for a fairly well rounded home gym for a reasonable price. I have had it for over six months now and it is holding up just fine. Would absolutely recommend!

I don’t write many reviews, with that said, I highly recommend the Mikolo HR05 half rack. This is an excellent solid build, exceeded my expectations. Arrived timely in two manageable boxes, no missing parts and no damaged parts, well packed without all the annoying styrofoam you sometimes get. I put this together myself with no difficulty. Completed the rack itself the first day and completed the cable hook ups the next day, as to total time maybe 3 hrs tops. Directions are good and used an online video for a couple clarifications. Highly recommend laying all parts out and identifying your nuts bolts etc. as knowing them by number etc., expedited installation. Again, this is a solid rack, holds plenty of weight for my home gym needs, and for the record I’m 60 years old. Cables are smooth with no herky jerky and I lift heavy weights. I do recommend getting some silicone spray and once completed lube the cables and slide post. This made a huge difference in the smoothness and overall function of the cables. The added handles, cable rope, are a bonus. I agonized over which rack to buy, lot of options out there, I decided on Mikolo based on price, reviews and equipment. Plus, I like the 1:1 ratio instead of the 2:1, but that is my personal preference.

I absolutely love my Half Power Cage! The cables move smoothly and easily. Adjusting the height of the cable attachments is simple, all the way up for pull-downs and to the bottom for floor rows. One inch hole spacing makes adjustments precise. The safety bars are long enough to provide security and J hooks are solid when weighted. Both are easy to adjust. There are different hold positions on the pull-up bar and when used the rack is rock solid. I appreciate the storage bars for plates. My room is 11' x 12' and there is plenty of room for the rack and accessories. However, I use a women's olympic length barbell (6'6"), and it is too long to use the landmine attachment easily in the room. Assembly was straightforward for two people. This is a high quality piece of equipment and the centerpiece of my home gym.
