INLINE LAMP SWITCH/LIGHT SWITCH GOLD IN-LINE 2/3 CORE

I have fitted more than a few in-line lamp switches in my time but I have never come across an in-line switch so difficult to fit.The connections are almost impossibly placed and the ports for the 3 core wire are just beyond description and do NOT work.Do yourself a favour and look for a different in-line switch, there are plenty about.

I bought two of the same switch. The first to arrive was a nightmare to wire up as the collars that he the wire in place are more of a slot in the plastic and without scews to release. A frustrating 20 minutes!The second switch to arrive was a lot easier to install as it did have screws to release, as you find in a plug. 2 stars for first switch, 5 for the second.

Cheap and poor quality the i purchased 2 off these and the first one did not work so I didn't even bother to fit the second.I would not recommend this product.

Fitted this switch, but was arcing and lamp would only stay on of I help button down.Felt very cheap and thin, would be surprised if it conforms to British Standards.Had to send it back and have found a much better quality (and working) one on here.

Fitted ok but would but would recommend it the UK marketAMZONE are selling crap the UK public now

this was cheap so I should have known better. it wasn't easy to connect as it was very fiddly inside, but it did the job.

They seen hard to find in the high street but as usual Amazon has them. Time needs to be taken to fit it to a professional finish, even with an electrical background.Some advice, no need to cut the cable earth or neutral wires inside the switch, just carefully cut back the outer insulation on your lamp cable.
