Level 5 Tools 5-172 Putty Knife,SS,Nylon Handle,6"

OK, I Bought this to cut my brownies and sheet style cookies. No other reason and they are perfect for the job.

I own a rental house and have been removing wallpaper in my current house. I am not a professional but I do sheet rock work more often than I like. The blade on my old 6" taping knife got nicked, so I needed a replacement. The new knife arrived with a circular dent about 1/4" to 3/8" away from the blade edge. I initially planned to return it, even went as far as setting up a return. Then Saturday rolled around and I didn't want to waste an hour running to the Home Improvement store to buy another one, so I decided to try the Level5. The dent didn't affect function, so I kept it. Had it arrived undamaged, I would have rated it at leat 4 stars.

This can be washed and left to dry while wet. Most other putty knifes flash over with minor rust.

Not much to say, good sturdy knife

I really like this knife. Its a nice medium between firm and flexible. I use to mud, but also miscellaneous tasks like tucking something behind siding, prying, or scraping.Personally I sanded off the top edges so I have less change to cut the tape while mudding, however that is personal preference.I dry it off really well after each use and keep it out of ant harsh weather, and it has no signs of rust.It has a comfortable handle and is overall just what I was looking for!

This is a home owners knife for the home owners that think they can tape and call a professional after they mess it up, handle is cheap and will break fast blade is decent
