Golden Rule World Famous Hot/Spicy BBQ Sauce - A Southern Original

This BBQ sauce is a bit spicy, not overly so but definitely has a good kick to it. It is thinner than I am used to, even thinner than the Original sauce from the same brand which was already on the thinner side. That makes this sauce great for something like a marinade, but not quite as good as a dipping sauce. The flavor is very tangy and vinegary with a just a slight hint of sweetness to it, and a noticeable level of spice. All required food labelling was present on the bottle. This is a good BBQ sauce and I would recommend trying it if you enjoy less sweet and more spicy flavors of BBQ sauce.

At first, this was hitting me in the spice department a lot, but eventually the sweetness and vinegary of the BBQ sauce came through. It had such a rich flavor that it added to my chicken. Incredibly moist sauce that isn’t too runny or thick I would say. It has enough flavor on its own so I don’t need additional salt. Sauce also works if you want to spread it on your food, and caramelize it. It works in many recipes, and I recommend it for sure.

This sauce is not a very thick sauce, somewhat watery. It has a nice smoky, spicy flavor but I personally didn't really taste much of a BBQ flavor that I'd normally get in a BBQ sauce. It is an enjoyable flavor though.

This is basically a mixture of ketchup with a good vinegary red pepper sauce in a nice hot tangy ratio. It's not going to send most running for a drink but may be a bit much for those sensitive to heat. It's a little on the thin side but tastes really nice and could be used as a hot dipper for fries, onion rings or such.

This review is for Golden Rule World Famous Hot BBQ Sauce.This sauce is hot. I mean really hot. But the flavor is really good. We used it on chicken legs and chicken wings on the grill. Its spicy, but you can also taste the sweet flavor also. We enjoyed it with a big pitcher of lemonade. Not for the weak of heart. If you can take the heat, then this barbecue sauce is for you!

If you're not into hot stuff, this BBQ sauce isn't for you. It's very hot and very flavorful, tasted amazing on the pulled pork sandwhiches we had. You don't need a lot since it's hot, this bottle will last us for quite some time. Recommend!

You could smell the spiciness and the flavor right out of the box. It is a rich barbecue sauce with a nice kick. Any barbecue lovers should definitely try this product.

This has become my most favorite barbecue sauce ever. It's hot but not too hot. It has a kick but it isn't painful. It goes perfectly on wings but also is great just for a dip. My husband is a chef and agrees that it tops other sauces.
