Good quality, keeps my OEM Champion appearance (yellow)
Perfect fit for my Champion 9000w generator. It Included new mounting grommets that worked with my original mounting bolts. New petcock and hose seem to be of good initial quality. It’s 1 gallon larger than my original tank but still fit without any issue so I’m pleased about that.

Fit my 7500 Watt 100296 Champion generator perfectly!
This was a perfect fit for my Champion Power 7,500 watt generator. See pictures. I did need to get 4 longer bolts to mount it as the sleeves in the rubber bushings were longer on the new tank. Also, the new tank gas line fitting is an outie and the old one was an innie so I needed an adapter but no big deal. Pretty upset the original tank rusted through after only about 6 years and I always used (what was supposed to be) non-ethanol gas and fuel stabilizer. As you can see in the pictures, the old fuel tank had blistered on top and rusted a hole/crack in the bottom. So much rust in the old tank it was rattling around in there when I shook the tank! I did coat the interior of the tank with the product in the picture. Any good fuel tank coating material should work. Easy to do, just pour it in and tip the tank all around to thoroughly coat the bottom of the tank and the sides and top. Then let it dry for a day or two before filling. This SHOULD prevent the rust issue from happening again. Took about 2 hours including the trip to the hardware store for fitting and bolts. Looks good and the new tank has a gas gauge and it’s coated now so I’m calling it an upgrade.

Old JD Generator
Didn’t fit exactly on my older generator but I knew it wouldn’t it’s the closest I could find ? But very happy with this unit , It’s heavy and made very well it’s not a cheap tank , Comes with a built in gauge and a bottom shut off valve also a heavy duty fill cap.

Perfect fit for champion 6250/5000. Tank material not aluminum as described. Fuel gauge on tank is nice. My original didn’t have one.

Unhappy with the incorrect ad.
The ad stated that the tank was made of aluminum. It is actually made from steel. I ordered the tank thinking that I wouldn't have to worry about rust.
