Modelones Nail Strengthener and Growth, Milky White Nail Polish Nail Repair

This nail strengthener is such a unique and innovative product. I love that you can use it on your natural nails to make them grow and make them more resilient! I’ve noticed my nails are much stronger and break way less when I have this on. I love the nude coloring as well, it gives you a more even look that is elegant and classic. You also only need one coat, but I recommend two for the best effect. Overall, it’s easy to use, looks great and truly works. I highly recommend!

I am very much a nude or pink nail girl. I stopped getting nail extensions because I’m in the kitchen often, I type on computers a lot, and I love to garden. I started doing gel polish on its own, but we all know what a pain it is to remove at home. My nails were getting pretty damaged even with very gentle removal, so I just stopped painting my nails entirely. There is nothing wrong with bare nails, but I really prefer to have a clean-looking and slightly shiny nail just to feel put together. This product delivers exactly that!! I got the peach-nude color and it is the perfect nude pink for medium skin tones!! All I did to prep were push back my cuticles, file my nails down, and wipe them with alcohol to dehydrate. I did not use a base coat, as I wanted to see just how long these lasted with minimal prep. I did 3 thin coats of the polish, and each coat dried down very nicely and almost immediately. I topped with OPI’s double duty top coat, and these pictures are of my nails after a week. I waited a week to write a review because I really wanted to see how they lasted. My nails very commonly crackle / chip with regular polish even from a salon. I am SO impressed with how these held up. I will absolutely be repurchasing this, but it looks like I won’t have to for a while since there is so much product in the bottle. This is probably going to be my go-to nail product for a while. Removal is easy with 100% acetone as well, so if I ever need a refresh, it takes less than 15 minutes! TLDR: MUST BUY! Quick dry, no base coat needed, lasts long without chips or cracks, stays shiny, easy to apply!

This polish is awesome! The pink color is just what I wanted. Not too sheer. Not too saturated when you do a few coats. Perfect for my 59.5 years old hands! Dries quickly too.

I have been using this product consistently for several weeks, but I have not noticed that my nails feel stronger or harder. For that reason, I am giving it four stars. However, I really enjoy using it as a nail polish. The formula applies smoothly and evenly, and the color is beautiful. It gives my nails a clean, polished, and well-groomed appearance. Although it did not provide the strengthening results I expected, I still like it because of how easy it is to apply and how pretty it looks on my nails.

Didn't think I would want to write a review about a nail polish but here I am taking time to say Wow!! I have been looking for a non-streaking no chipping (for at least 6 day wear) I have used it 3 times now, the first time I did one coat and it was good but the next time I wanted a bit more color pay off. It did not change the wear time. I will purchase other shades

I absolutely love this milky color and is very buildable and self leveling and makes your nails look healthy and uniform in color. The only issue is it starts to crack and chip about 2-3 days later. I tested it twice and after 2-3 days it will start cracking and showing on the nail. So unfortunate, because the color and the viscosity was really ideal for me! Shared below is how my nails look, I did a semi ombre effect with one layer on the full nail and then a second layer from the middle to the tip and then a third layer on the tips. I also added a little bit of white blended French tips to give it more opaque color. And then sealed it all with 2 coats of matte top coat. The look was perfect but is now cracking after a few days. I tested again with just 3 coats as is and was thinking maybe it was because of the matte top coat or how I did an ombré effect prior, but it also cracked after a few days regardless. Anyway, will try to return because I can’t just do my nails every few days. I prefer them to last at least a week before they start cracking or chipping. Hope ding to find something similar but that lasts!

Love this! I've always bought the clear strengtheners for my nails that split on the ends, but I LOVE this sheer pink color! It's like a hint of color that is flattering, yet doesn't show as much when it chips off eventually like everything does on me. This stays on as well as my clear strengthener. I don't usually wear nail polish because I'm hard on my nails and don't have time to keep getting them polished, so this feels like a light polish, provides a nice tinted shine while protecting my nails.

I’ve been an OPI only girl, and their Nail Envy-lover, for more years than I care to count, or admit. But I saw this treatment polish suggested for me while it was on sale and decided to give it a try. For myself and for my mom. Great highlighted ingredients and I’d been looking for a truly milky white, one that wasn’t stark/opaque enough to be used for the tips of a French (old school version). And it has yet to go on streaky, which I can’t say about many light colored polishes! The ingredients were the clincher in getting it for my mom. If someone you know is a picker, to the point of destroying their natural nails, don’t hesitate just buy this! The evening primrose oil et al means this will be partially absorbed into the nails so picking it off won’t be possible. And it looks so nice (on every skin tone!) that they might not even try! I highly recommend getting this product and the brand’s color polish (which is also billed as a strengthener) in White Haze if you’re looking for that jelly milky white color as your full manicure. Or if you’re looking for any “milky” colored mani/pedi. This treatment goes on easily and two coats dries in roughly the time it takes to apply. (Super bonus if you find yourself without a pedicure and wanting to wear open toed shoes- shortly!) So this one is your health boosting base coat(s), add a coat (or two, depending upon how white you want your nails to appear) of their White Haze polish and top with your favorite topcoat (I love Barielle, but even a cheap one should work as this stuff lasts!) for OVER a week’s worth of lovely nails. That Super Bonus I mentioned? I actually put two quick coats of this on my toes with nothing else and almost two weeks later they still look healthy and shiny with no chips, no issues at all. Pretty impressive. And if you’re looking for blueberry or strawberry (whatever fruit/veg) milk nails, this product (plus/minus the Angel Haze) with a coat of color in between will come out perfectly. I should point out that the Angel Haze, separate purchase, isn’t absolutely necessary! But you’ll need to use more than a couple coats of this product to achieve the same level of “milkiness” or whitening. That’s the reason for the combo rec, just to make things easier for you if you’re looking for that specific type of coloring. And the other polish is a lower price. So ease of application and budget considerations have been included. Also should mention that my suggestions and examples aren’t following the guidelines for use of this product. For best/maximum results the manufacturer recommends that you apply this over a multi-day period then remove it and start again. (Like Nail Envy.) I’m sure you’ll be pleased with it however you decide is best for you and your nail goals. It’s an absolute repurchase for me. Hope this helps someone, and have a good day! 😊

Modelones has always been my go to brand for gel nails, the quality is amazing, especially for the price. My routine is one layer of base coat, 2–3 layers of colour, and then this top coat to finish. All of my gel products are from Modelones because they never disappoint. The top coat cures quickly, around 60 seconds on a low UV setting, or about 30 seconds on a higher setting. I usually cure it twice on the higher setting for a total of 60 seconds, and it dries perfectly with no sticky layer left behind. My nails typically last around 1–2 weeks before I start to notice any chipping, but I don’t mind that at all because I love switching my colours often. Overall, it’s reliable, glossy, and great quality, definitely a top coat I’d recommend.

Will definitely buy again. Bought 2: Clear and Milky White. Comes in several different 'translucent' shades, so looking forward to trying more. All have the strengthening / ridge-filling formula. First coat is a barely there milky white, with additional coats adding more depth to the colour. Applies easily with no 'glopping' or streaking. Lasts a long time and easy to remove. My thumbs and index fingers have serious deep ridges from years of leash dog-walking; this product works really well in filling and covering them (with more than one coat), so am very pleased with this aspect. I can apply a few coats to the damaged nails without them looking different from the 1 -2 coats on the others. One thing to note: after final coat, make sure polish is completely dry to prevent smudging -- takes a little longer to dry than other brands of strengthener.
