I would do zero stars if I could, bought for making a vegan menudo . Mushrooms arrived completely broken and powder form .

Came in crushed bottle. And some pieces of white fungus is in powdery form.

I hadnt had this white snow fungus before, so I dont know what is normal or whT to expect, but i had read of the possible hydrating and skin benefits and i wanted to try it out. I rehydrated it in watet, which was very easy, and then added it into a tea. It is gelatin like, and very similar texture to chicken cartilage. The flavor is slightly sweet but very much mushroom. You do need to chew it. I think i personally prefer it blended into my shakes. The package arrived full, and not crushed at all. The pieces were smaller sized, exactly as shown in the listing pictures. The price also seems fair compared to other listings of this product. I hope this helps.

A bit pricey but the quality is satisfactory.

Makes lovely desserts with tapioca balls, ice and chopped fruit.
