Perfect replacement for a part they don't make anymore
This worked for the bottom of the tank on an older Bissell carpet shampooer- a part they don't make anymore. All I need was the rubber piece, I took it off the new one and put it on the old and it was fixed!

Leaks like crazy and It is only 3 weeks old
We replaced the cap on our Bissell Spot Clean because the formula was leaking from the solution tank. I bought it from Amazon on November 12, 2024, and when today when I turned the tank with the carpet shampoo over the sink it began leaking out the new cap pretty quickly. I played around with the valve and nope it wouldn't stop. That's why I bought a new one in the first place. So I've ordered a second one today in the hopes that maybe this one will not be defective. The first one (original) was very old and leaked and now this new one is leaking as well.
