Star Wars The Black Series Han Solo
The internet seems pretty split on Alden Ehrenreich as a young Han Solo. From what I’ve seen in the trailers, I think he’ll be fine. No one’s going to replace Harrison Ford as Solo, so one should not expect Alden to be a perfect Han Solo. Impossible boots to fill. We have no idea if this iteration of Han will be a Prince of Corellia, or what they’ve changed to the character since the middle 90’s of EU comics and novels. But like any new star wars film. I’m walking into this with only one expectation “to have fun”. This doesn’t need to break new ground or redefine the character or out do previous Star Wars films. I just want a fun action adventure in the Star Wars universe and this is what Solo: A Star Wars Story looks like. Right off the bat I like this character design, granted I think it’s odd that he has his striped Captain Pants already, I’ve basically been dressing the same since my early twenties to now so it tracks. I like the black shirt to change things up, Han’s leather jacket looks cool, this is a really great Han Solo figure. Hasbro is utilizing UV face printing, which it seems that’s the direction most of the industry is going. It makes for far less qc issues and a more realistic look to any figure. This figure isn’t loaded with accessories but he comes with the one I think all Han fans would expect, his DL-44 Blaster, and it holsters nicely into his gun belt.If you’re excited for Solo: A Star Wars Story, grab yourself a young Han Solo, for $19 this is a pretty incredible figure. Paint applications are fantastic, the face printing, the dirty wash over the leather jacket, the articulation is solid per usual. I haven’t played around with trying to switch out heads for a previously released Han but that might be doable. By itself this is a great action figure but when paired with Lando and Qi’Ra, this looks even better. If Solo: A Star Wars Story doesn’t interest you, I guess that may save you some money if you’re a Black Series collector and want to skip these. Though I think Han, Lando, Qi’Ra and the Range Trooper will make for great fodder if you want to cannibalize and customize your own figures. For those like me who are eagerly awaiting Solo: A Star Wars Story, this is a must own and comes FULLY APPROVED.

PRISTINE!
Young Han arrived at my door promptly as stated. And his means of transportation was in a very secure vessel. Moving threw customs under the scrutiny of a collector's eye, there was no defective issues to be found.. pristine. With the mission concluded and a complete success, this nerd is a satisfied and happy customer with 2 thumbs up, awards 5 stars across the galaxy.

Not Han Solo?
I know most people will want me to review the figure itself, and I understand why people will not like this review. But I didn’t buy this figure for the character or cause I was a fan of the film. I’m still not on board with Disney Star Wars. I brought this figure to make a custom figure of Darth Caedus (Jacen Solo) from the Expanded Universe, the Universe I personally count as canon.Alden Ehrenreich looks more like Jacen Solo than Han Solo, so I needed his head to create my figure. But I guess since Han is Jacen’s father, it makes sense right. I’m at least glad I brought the figure here instead of buying it from Target. A seller here offered me $10, Target offered $20. It’s a win-win here.

for the price its great..
i got this for under 10 bucks and for that price these figs are not too bad. unfortunately that is not their original price tag and 20 is just too much for these figs. the quality was once amazing on these figs and the 20 dollar price tag was worth it but now days not so much really. If this wasn't a gift for a younger Star Wars fan i would not have purchased it. so far even the hard to find EU figs are staring to drop in price so if you are patient you can usually get what you are looking for for the retail price or below. Revan was once going for $75 and above.. now they are around 20.

Great Figure that the Kids Love!
What can I say, these actions figures are well made and look great! The kids are addicted to Star Wars and love playing with these realistic figures. If your looking for collectibles, look no further than the black series as they come in really nice packaging for display purposes.

look,it's han solo!
great figure,he looks fantastic with hasbro's realistic face painting tech,he bends at the arms, legs, torso, and head very well, you can get him in some great action poses, the only thing i don't like are his ankles are a little lose so on mine he likes to tip forward, but other than that he is a great han solo figure, thank you much.

Han ain’t no Mary Sue.
Looks just like Han in the Cantina scene in the original Star Wars. That’s how good they did in Solo and how good they did with this toy. Fits perfectly on the Action Hero Saddle for Dogs. Now my Labrador has his perfect accessory.
