My kids have several different sets of wooden people, but this is my favorite. I love the selection of characters and how they're not trying to brainwash children with some PC agenda. Thank you, whoever created this set. It is much appreciated!

Perfect for my grandkids
These are printed on both sides. They are perfect for little hands. They also can be used for learning. We sort them in many different ways.

A good addition to any beginning sand tray play therapy room.
The price is good for new therapists building their collection of miniatures. They may even prove to be long term staples if they last. The pieces are thinner than other brands so they will be harder for folks with less dexterity to stand them upright. In a sand tray that point is moot. The edges feel a little rough, less polished than other more expensive pieces and also less of a poly finish. Again, in a sand tray the pieces will wear smoother over time instead of getting rougher with more play. I like that the dipictions of characters are front and back, so you see characters' backs if turned away- this is powerful for imagery compared to similar blocks that are blank on the backs. I really like the velvety bag that was included for storage, and I see ways it can be integrated into sandtray and played with. Plus it feels nice.

The Kathfly 36 Pcs Wooden Community Helpers set is amazing! My preschooler loves playing with these colorful, multicultural figurines. Each piece represents different community helpers, like doctors, firefighters, and teachers. This set is great for creative play and helps my child learn about different careers. The wooden blocks are sturdy and just the right size for little hands. It’s also a wonderful way to teach social and emotional learning. We enjoy making up stories and adventures with these little professionals. This toy set is both fun and educational!

Discolored set, lightweight material.
Super stoked when we saw the variety of occupations, this would set contained. Too good to be true perhaps. The wood is air light and does not have much weight if any.17 of the pieces have discolored heads. The vet and tire mechanic are top heavy and do not stand when placed upright. Furthermore the sheriff has a sunflower seed sized lump just beneath the neck tie where a penis might be. This set will be returned.

Where are the females????
These wooden people SEEMED like they would be a good addition to my classroom—until I sorted them! 😡 This drives me CRAZY! 24 male characters and 11 female!!! WHY?!???This toy should have EQUAL representation!!!! Grrrrrrr.
