Great maroon color...
I'd designed a small keychain for a former local high school logo (gotta love consolidations) for some family members that once attended. That's when I noticed how absolutely few manufacturers make a maroon PLA filament. After searching around, this seemed to be the most color accurate I could find to my needs. And it's a gorgeous maroon. Not only that, but the filament sticks well to the bed and prints great. No issues at all on my setup.Setup - FLSUN Super Racer with MicroSwiss Dual Gear Bowden Extruder, MicroSwiss CM2 0.6 Nozzle, Capricorn Bowden Tube, FYSETC PEI build plate.Settings - 180c print temp, 60c bed (these settings worked great for ME and are my normal settings for PLA, your printer, even a FLSUN SR, will likely use different settings, just posting these to give more info to those looking at this filament).

Great color, high gloss.
Really great color. Prints high gloss at high speeds. No stringing. The spool was wound to tight to work in the AMS so I had to respool it which is not a deal breaker for me as I respool the majority of my filament. Excited to try more from this brand.

Great for lightboxes!
This filament is definitely different than regular PLA but it was the first I found in ivory color that is slightly off-white. Make sure your nozzle is clean around the outside else it can attach and drag and drop blobs. I am getting good results printing at 210C with a 55C bed using a textured PEI plate on a Bambu X1c. It handles a max volumetric of 20mm^3/sec with the prints I've done at "standard" speed on the Bambu, which is pretty darn quick!I found the ivory color is slightly translucent which really does give it that ivory subsurface scatter look on 100% solid objects. It also worked great for a lightbox project I did, printing two layers at 0.20 mm for white lettering. For a light shade, etc. it will give a warmer light and is more translucent than something like Sunlu PLA+ white.I like it! Just keep your nozzle clean (heat it up and a light use of a brass brush will take care of it).

I really wanted to give this a 5 star but...
Overall this filament is a solid 4 star in my book. What brought it down a notch for me was while the spool has even windings, they are too tight. Every print that I've done so far I noticed that the filament would tighten up, then suddenly jerk.I noticed this happening on either side of the spool and this did it consistently. This had me concerned as I felt at some point this is going to give some kind of printing error and sure enough during my 8th print, about the 1/2 way into a 12 hour print, there was a failure causing a layer seperation which i can only attribute to the very tight windings.Unfortunatly I wasnt there when this occured and I didnt notice the error in the print until it had finished, while I was removing it from it bed. Very disappointing to say the least. The other prints up to that point were flawless.I'm not an expert, but I'm not a novice either. I've been 3d printing for many years and I own 3 printers and this is the only time I have ever experienced this happening (the filament tightening then jerking causing layer seperation.) Some may think that there may have been an issue with the file causing the layer seperation, however all the previous prints came out fine and they were all the same type part, So this is the only conclusion I can come up with. The only other issue I have is with the color/name. This color is called "leather" which was the color I was hoping for, but I think that fell short a little. I will admit, it was close, but in my opinion it couldve been a tad darker. But "good enough" for what I needed in a "leather" color.Pros:-Made in America! And in the great state of Texas! I am so tired of stuff being farmed out to China!-Nice even windings-Prints like butter, prints come out silky smooth (I use Prusa Slicer on their finest setting. Very long print times but well worth it!)-Very minor, if any, stringing, pimplingCons:-Windings while are nice an even, are very tight causing the filament to tighten and then suddenly jerk especially as it spools out at either edge of the spool. To me, this is a Major zonk!-If you use Supports they leave the area light colored but with carefully applied heat to the effected area, it will return the original color back.Would I buy it again? Unfortunately because of the issue I experienced, I would have to say no. Which is a shame because up until the problem occurred I was really impressed with this filament, but I just don't want to chance this happening to me again. I'm hard pressed to even use up the rest of the remaining filament.I hope this review helped the 3d printing makers out there! "Keep calm and print on!" Lol.
