If you buy this at Full Retail Price, it is not worth the price of over a Thousand Dollars. It is a good value when on sale, check price history. Voice clarity is much better than a stock TV. You may not need closed caption as often. Bluetooth connectivity has been excellent for ALL of our devices. Overall the sound is good, not as good as the old C. V. D-5 or D-7’s from the 80’s. This system has some good options and it pairs very well with the LG 77 OLED TV. You “MUST” be home to immediately inspect the box before you accept the delivery and box. Our box was damaged and the sound system appears to be working well to date. Overall = B +. Larger speakers would bring this up to an A. Your TV room is unique, and it may sound better or worse. Yes, I recommend this system when on Sale. Price is always a factor.

Hooked this up with my 2018 LG 65" C8. Sounds Great! Extremely fast and easy install! TV remote, automatically controls sound bar volume. Be sure to follow the instructions on the correct order to plug in the power for each speaker. Bluetooth synced automatically. Would definitely buy again!!

Sounds amazing. Rear speakers are pretty sizable unlike my previous soundbar, subwoofer is smaller than my previous one though. Due to the Sub and Satellites being 100% wireless, each of them requires a power cord. So you might need to be creative with running power to those depending. The AI Sound Tuning worked great but I really bought this for the Voice Enhancements and I an happy to say that it actually does significantly make hearing dialogue easier. So i'm please that feature works as advertised. The remote does most the features of the App but the App does a way better job at explaining what all of the features do and presents them in a easy to use way. The only goofy thing to me that this soundbar does is after the TV has been off for a while, when it turns on again the soundbar is in mute mode. So it has 3 orange lights. I have to press unmute on the remote to make it work again, weird little quirk i've never run into before with other soundbars.

The speaker comes very well packaged and with a "Simple Manual" what is indeed simple and not sufficient to to properly install the device, so I downloaded from LG.COM the 80 pages "Owner's Manual" and learned how to set up the speaker. The sound is amazing and there are various ways for connections and and various ways for adapting how you want to hear the sound. On the package is written that the speaker is cinematic wit Dolby Atmos Sound and and a subwoofer with deep bass. This is no lie.

If you're a company that's going to make the bold choice to have everything about your soundbar be configured via an app, you'd better make sure that your app is AMAZING. And that your hardware connects with a variety of WiFi routers. Unfortunately, LG did neither. ☹️ I set this up easily, and everything worked great at the basic level. Solid wireless connection to the subwoofer (which neither Samsung nor Sony can seem to get right), and the rear channels worked great. The overall was good, but not great. But I can't tune the sound or adjust anything without the app, so I was never able to get it to sound great. And unfortunatley, I couldn't set up the soundbar using the app. It always failed at step two of adding the device, which seems to be when the soundbar tries to communicate with the wireless access point. I called LG support seven times (three of those were the system hanging up on me mid-wait), and their tech support wasn't helpful. There seems to be no log files or data that they can look at to see exactly what's going on. It just fails (that error code in the screenshot wasn't indicative of the actual issue), and they could offer no advice on how to get it working. I tried both the Android and iOS apps; I rebooted, reintalled, and re-initiated everything multiple times. Nothing helped. Honestly, it's shocking to me that LG would prefer me to return this product and leave a negative review rather than build things into their system to help with troubleshooting WiFi issues. This soundbar system could have been great, but it's a 1-star product because LG made the entire system reliant upon the app working, and their app/wifi connection piece just doesn't work well.

I have the LG G4 OLED. Works perfectly together. Can't say enough good things. One thing I will add is that if you have wooden floors, you absolutely need to get an isolation pad or the subwoofer will rattle your house and muddy the sound. Would recommend going online and looking up the proper sound settings. The AI voices sound like a tin can so you have to turn that off and slightly adjust other settings but it really is great.

Best sound goes well with LG TV this is my second by after sc9s sound bar. LG never disappoints.. just wanted to upgrade so purchased this after searching.

This is the first time I purchased a premium dolby atmos soundbar, but it is worth every penny. The vocals, tiniest background noises (which were unheard even in theatre), crisp base, surround and overhead channels make it one of the best soundbar in this price category. Only thing to make sure to fill your room with good acoustic supporting cushions and curtains to get most out of the soundbar, surround and overhead channels.. even though this is 810W sound system, it sounds best in my 200sqft. living room..

nice soundbar to pair with lg tv. does everything as advertised. ideal for home setup, loud and clear. you would listen to instruments u never heard b4 in the same songs. dolby atmos just sounds super. recommended if u need cinema feel in home
