Genuine Jeep Accessories 82211405 One-Piece Wheel Lock Kit (Packaging May Vary)

Great wheel locks. Wish I could have gotten them from McGard instead of Mopar. The McGard locks would have been half the price, but Mopar has the "lock" on this model. The package says that they're not for steel wheels, which worried me at first. I called Mopar and they told me they are for after market alloy wheels only (I checked the ad and it does kind of state that. It says OEM and after market alloy wheels, which I took to mean all OEM wheels, steel or alloy and after market alloy wheels). Mopar said they were concerned about the studs bottoming out inside the wheel lock causing lack of torque on the wheel. I measured the inside of the Mopar wheel lock, the inside of the OEM lug nut and the length of the stud. The wheel lock actually has more room inside than the OEM lug nut. The lug is over 1/8th of an inch shorter than the space inside the wheel lock. So, I installed them, torqued them to specs and drove it. A week later, they were still torqued to specs and also, a week after that. Apparently, they're fine. I've been driving the Jeep for some time now with them on. There was no problem with the spare either. Update - 15 Nov 2013: Still driving, still torqued. No problems. I've been driving with these wheel locks on steel rims over country roads and in the mountains of Montana. As long as they don't change the specs on the studs and wheel locks, I don't see a problem.

Works great on our 08 jeep Jeep Wrangler X .. they stick out a slight bit - not much - so they are not flush with he others but over all great! Went on easily. Time will tell but at first pass they are great!

I bought these and used three to secure the spare tire on my Wrangler. Really in my area that's the only thing I'm worried that might get stolen off my Jeep. Using 3 gives it a uniform appreance so there's no problem with there being one sticking out farhter than the rest. I just threw the adaptor for unscrewing the lock nuts in my glove box in case I need my spare.

Works perfectly with my 2014 Wrangler and appears to be genuine OEM. Much better price than other outlets, and highly recommend

Seller shipped Subaru wheel locks, obviously not for a Jeep. Beware.

Easy install on Jeep JKU, key sleeve is sturdy, hand tighten with tool/breaker bar first then torque to specs. The key and locks look to be well made, although a Mopar brand label, the locks were made by McGuard which is good, registration was simple online, bought McGuard wheel locks on my cars for about 40 years now, really like the manufacturer. Glad I bought it.

Took me about ten minutes to put them on, and I feel like my spare tire is now 1,000 times safer from thieves than it was with just standard lug nuts.

These star locks were great. I used them on our jeep and they worked fantastic.
