Brilliant hues, color stable, long lasting, ease of brushing/ application
These are great underglazes. I was mainly interested in them for my students ( I’ve been teaching ceramics for almost 30 years) and was trying to find underglazes which were dependable colors as well as affordable. The Am*co are super expensive and the Sp**db*ll quality has gone down in quality and are hard to find in certain colors. M*yc* fundamentals are Ok but again are hard to find. So I took a gamble with these, a new brand to U.S. ceramics market. The price was reasonable compared with the student quality we’ve used via Sp**db*ll. This brand, Pasler, is a Chinese brand and comes very nicely packaged- 12 colors, 2oz. /each in a box with 2 underglaze pen applicators. China has a long, well established history in the field of Ceramics materials, and it seems they are now using encapsulated (Greenware and food safe ) stains for their underglazes. I wanted to test these out prior to allowing my students to use them, so I made an underglaze test chart ( a Laguna bee mix cone 6 clay body), which I fired to bisque 04/ glaze Cone 6. I also made a couple of small test pieces in which I had blended colors and applied some clear cone 6 glaze. Right away, during use, I noticed the brilliance of the colors and the amazing smooth quality of the underglazes. They are buttery smooth to brush on, a welcome change from the chunky texture one gets from other brands. The quality of the brushing ( even on leather hard Greenware) was like top of the line brands, as was the hue saturation. I first fired the colors to Cone 04 Bisque. Afterwards, I applied a thin clear glaze, a homemade Cone 6 clear, then fired to cone 6. I am very impressed with these colors and the results. For $45, you get 12 colors which includes black and white, and a beautiful range of miscible colors. I hope the prices of these stay affordable and I hope they can start selling pint sized containers of several colors for those of us who like to use a lot of these.

Works at cone 10
Products work relatively well at cone 10, with most colors remaining intact. I use 2 to 3 coats and have tried them on both greenware and bisque (with clear over). They are concentrated, so adding a bit of water helps. Nice set of colors for a starter kit, reasonably priced. Can’t always find larger sizes at reasonable prices though.

Great underglaze set for pottery painting
Reasonably priced and a wonderful set of underglazes. I painted my bisqueware with this and applied Amaco LG-10 clear glaze and fired to Cone-5 . Most of the colors held up well. The purple didn't hold up so well into Cone 5 and went more dark blue and ran a little bit. Yellow ran a tiny bit also. The reds, oranges, browns, blues & greens were spectacular! The red in particular popped so brilliantly! I didn't apply the full 3 coats of underglaze (rookie mistake), so I did get a washed look on the pieces. But I love it! It's still extremely beautiful. I had applied too little brown to one of the creations and that nearly melded with the yellow and didn't show Next time, I'll do multiple coats of all the light colors & highlights in particular. Underglaze (and clay in general) has memory. So there was a spot where I'd sponged off a tiny mistake - and it showed in the finished product - this is to be expected. Adding it here for people to know :)

A Ceramic Love Story in Twelve Bottles
I bought this set of underglaze bottles expecting a casual fling. You know, maybe a few cute colors to flirt with my pottery. What I got instead? True love. The kind of love that makes you whisper sweet nothings to your kiln while it cools. First of all, the bottles are easy to squeeze. Not in a weird way. Just in a satisfying, “I feel like a pro” kind of way. The colors are rich, smooth, and bold enough to make my mug of shame from last year cry in jealousy. I tested them on greenware, bisque, and even a stubborn little plate that was clearly judging me. They worked beautifully on all of them. The pigmentation? Chef’s kiss. The flow? Like poetry in glaze form. My cat tried to knock one over. It survived. So clearly these are made of tougher stuff than my willpower at a clay supply store. Would I recommend this set? Yes. A thousand times yes. If you want your pottery to look like it went to art school in Paris and now hosts gallery shows in Brooklyn, get this set. It’s magic in a bottle. Or twelve.

Good
I would say they’re good for underglazing, the colors come out darker and more vibrant than the pre-fired paint. Although, i’m not sure if it depends on the body of clay i’m working with or the clear glaze i’m working with, but the underglaze will sometimes still come out a bit gritty and matte even when i brush clear glaze on it. Other than that, they are really good under glazes for mixing and trying out different colors!

Nice sampes; over priced for continuous use
This item is a great way to get several colors if you are starting out. HOWEVER--you can not order large bottles of all the colors. You can order some colors, but even those are significantly more than what you would pay the same size bottle of a different "good" "standard" "reputable" brand. My suggestion order one of the other brands and start with less colors.

Great grouping of colors at a reasonable price.
What a great set this has been to get a variety of colors at a good price. The underglazes have been working just as expected and the colors are bright. It has been a great set to test out if underglazes are the way for me to go.

Habe sie getestet bei 1040° mit transparenter Glasur drüber, sind sehr gut. Wie die Farben im Hochbrand sind, werde ich noch ausprobieren.

I'm a beginner, so I don't have much to compare to... but I am loving these underglazes! True to color after firing at cone 6. I dunked mine in clear glaze prior to firing and I'm very happy with the outcome. The photo is just one example. The needle bottle is also very helpful. The texture is a little runnier than the photos in the listing. It's not clumpy. I actually quite like the texture. Great for painting on (illustrations) and fine details. Would absolutely purchase again!
