Works great, but after 100 steps its starts making an annoying noise

Let me first say, this item is a FANTASTIC workout! I bought this stepper a little over a year ago for the first time, used it about 10 times, and then it sat in a closet for about 9 months. I recently pulled it back out and began using it consistently. About three weeks in of using it 5-6 days per week, one of the brackets on the bottom snapped, rendering it useless. I initially assumed it was due to it sitting in storage, and given how long it had been since the initial purchase, I just took it as a loss and bought another one. That one lasted me 13 days of use 6 days a week (for reference, I tracked 6 miles each day using it, and I weigh 215 lbs, which is well below the maximum weight capacity) before the bracket that connects the hydraulic pumps to the center bracket snapped in half. I returned it for a full refund through Amazon as it was within the return window. The three stars are simply due to the fact that between the two units I bought, I lost 10 lbs in a month (combined with restricting my calories), which shows that this item does work before the hardware snaps. When this worked, it WORKED. I just wish the hardware that connects everything together was made with a higher quality material.

Impressed with product quality and performance. Has been just few days but it has been great so far. The resistance adjustment is great and allows me and my husband to share the machine. I strongly recommend it!

It’s a good convenient workout stepper. It does say it’s adjustable however, I don’t see where it can be adjusted. It does read your heart rate and counts calories. A little pricey but good product.

I really love my stepper! It's so easy to get my steps in with this. It's portable so you can take it from room to room or pack it in your car to go on vacation with you. It doesn't take up a lot of room and it's much cheaper than a treadmill or other piece of equipment. You really get a good workout on it in case you're worried. And it is really quiet. After a lot of use, you should oil it or it will start speaking.
