USA Made- work great- Victor has been around forever it seems!
What can one say- Victor has been around forever it seems. Made in the USA. Have tried my new traps and all work well. When I first opened them, you could smell the fresh pine from the wood bases on the traps. How Nice. Tells me they are fairly new. Work Great.

Many times, old school is best
These traps have changed very little since my dad used them when I was a child. Hubby saw a mouse in the garage a few days back, ordered these traps, and that mouse is gone. Bait them properly, keep them away from pets, there is nothing that works better. Glue traps are inhumane, the electric signal things are not effective. Get these.

Bait it correctly and it's 100% kill rate
These work great. I don't like the glue traps because they leave the mice alive and struggling to get away. These traps are instant kill and makes it easy to dispose of. I've baited them with everything from peanut butter to raw bacon to Laffy Taffy. Never had a miss so far, 100% kill rate. If it gets sprung it kills the mouse. The trick is how you bait it. You only need the smallest amount of bait, not some giant block of cheese. The trap has a bait holder function so take your bait and squish/squeeze it up inside the bait holder and pinch the rest off. That's all it takes. You don't need a big chunk of steak hanging off the sides. It's just a mouse, it doesn't need much food. By only leaving bait inside the bait holder section of the trap and not having big pieces hanging off it forces the mouse to interact directly with the trap and that guarantees a kill shot. If the mouse can sit off to the side of the trap and nibble on a huge chunk of bait then all you're doing is feeding them. The less bait the better. Trust.

Yup! Still Work Great!
Can be a bit tricky if you're not used to spring traps. Watch the videos for proper operation. The mouse traps are quite sensitive. I found the tiny staple can go flying when you release the armbar. I would try peanut butter first, it's easier to put a couple of drops on the plate. I found sliced peperoni works well as bait. They are reusable and easy to clean in bleach water if you want to reuse the traps. Use dog poop bag to pick up the trap and mouse, then tie and put it in bin. I've never had a problem with odor, just check 'em often.

Not for rats
It worked. . . kinda. It didn't go off the first time, so I added more bait. It did catch the rodent the second time; unfortunately, I found out I was dealing with a rat instead of a mouse after the trap activated, and these traps aren't strong enough to kill rats, leaving it to go running through my dining room with the trap stuck on its head. The loss of a star is due to the trap not triggering the first time the rat ate the bait. Getting a mouse trap instead of a rat trap was my fault. If you're unsure which type of rodent is hiding in your house, I'd suggest their larger rat traps instead.

Gold standard
These are 2nd best only to having too many hungry cats. The object is to smear a scent film of [peanut butter] bait on the pedal. This causes the vermin to think the pedal is the meal therefore triggering it. So, don't put a meals worth on trap causing your disappointment of missing bait and trap that wasn't triggered. I use wood skewers to apply bait. Set more than you think is needed since there probably are more mice than expected!

The best out there! Simple, fast and effective!
So I’m not going to post pictures of how well they work for obvious reasons, but these traps are the best. Took care of our problem in less than an hour of placing them out. This is the only brand we buy. We’ve tried others before and now only buy these because they are cheap, very effective and easy to dispose of. No gross chemicals or sticky papers to deal with. The set up is easy and these make sure that they don’t suffer which is important to me.

Classic trap
It’s always stressful finding a mouse in your house, but, this product definitely eases your mind knowing how effective they have been for years! A classic trap that has been used for decades. Easy to assemble and use. The reusability of the product I feel vary from case to case, I could not reuse this product for sanitary purposes, however, I feel like it could easily be cleaned and reused. The product is small enough to hide away and hide the appearance of a mouse trap in your house!

Traditional mouse trap that works
I've tried many many kinds of mouse traps over the years, and these are the only kind that work. They're an old traditional snap-trap with a small metal trigger. Put a bit of peanut butter on it, and stick a small peanut in the peanut butter for extra bait. Dead mouse about 50% of the time. Stick 2 or 3 around the area, and one of them will get the mouse for sure. Nobody has invented a better mouse trap yet, at least as far as I've seen. Can be reused at least a dozen times.

Doesnt catch mice.
I only recieved 10 traps, not 12. And also they are completely useless. I set all 10 out properly and ive just been feeding them snacks at this point. Nothing dead. I gave up and used the bigger black claw like ones.
