It works. My phone fits in it with plenty of space around it, but its kind of too big? A bit deep too so grabbing the phone is kind of a hassle sometimes.

A simple yet great addition
This product has helped me make the most of my Peloton investment. It is shocking to me that the traditional Peloton bike does not come with any kind of phone holder, but luckily this product provides that necessity. It was very easy to install and move around, so my wife can also position her phone according to her needs. The case itself is sturdy, and the phones are secure even during the most extreme rides!

Functional but underwhelming.
I feel kinda bad being less than excited about this, but I see a few problems. The item shipped fast and arrived in an intact/undamaged box. There are no instructions,....although, is peeling a sticker so you can attach the phone plate to the holder really anything you need instructions for? Probably shouldn't be riding a Peleton if you do, so we'll skip that check mark and move on.Our Peleton has thicker rubber coated handle bars. While the compression system did fit,...it's simply that. A compression system. There are two very thin metal "flanges" on the bottom of the base plate with nubby rollers on each side. Not hard to install. Line it up on the handle bar/flatscreen arm where you want it and push. The piece rolls down around it and hold. However, it's just a semi-tight compression hold. Like a hug. There are no straps to wrap around the entire bar or anything to prevent the roller arms from loosening over time and letting go. Heck, it wasn't even difficult to take off the bike after I put it on there for the pictures. Popped right off without any effort at all. All that hopping in & out of the saddle that you're doing on the Peloton, I question if it might just pop right off while you're riding!?!The materials are solid and the tray itself is big enough for an I-Phone. I don't know. Guess I was hoping for something a bit more extraordinary and this just kinda left me feeling underwhelmed. So,... 4 stars. Think it'll work but it's not something I'd really write home to Mom about either. Sorry. You'll just have to check this out & decide for yourself.

Doesn't fit. Or come with instructions. Or look like the picture.
I've seen people rave about TFD products, and was really excited to have a phone holder with a "nice" mount. I've been using a generic "plate-with-rubber-bands" type of holder, and while the one I have is very nice, I was really looking forward to something that looked cleaner and was more stable.Well. That's not what I got.I got a plate and a tray with no instructions whatsoever. So I checked TFD's site and... no instructions there, either. Something just seemed fundamentally "off" about this, so I tried putting the clip on a place that seemed reasonable, in order to do a test fit. The clip and plate mount seem well made, but it was obvious that there was just no way this tray was going to fit.As you can see, the tray itself -- unmounted -- does not clear the bend in the handlebar of the Peloton Bike. And since you probably have a Peloton if you're looking at this, you already know that there's nothing to adjust here. To get a better idea of what I'm talking about, look at the side-by-side picture I took on top of a green box.You might be able to get it to fit if you have the tray hanging over the handlebar toward the rider, but that's certainly not how it's pictured.I was also disappointed by how small the tray is (assuming it fit in the first place) - another departure from what's pictured. The generic no-name trays can hold my Pixel 7 Pro in a case, earbud charger, and a slim fan remote (just barely). This tray could hold my Pixel 7 Pro in a case, and maybe a business card or two standing on end on each side.So while I'm not in love with the rubber band style trays, they fit and hold the basics I need. This doesn't do anything worthwhile.

But A Very Good Option For The Bike+. Maybe Better Suited For The Bike.
The pictures of the phone holder are shown on the Amazon page using the Peloton Bike, Not Bike+. The Bike+ has a different crossbar which goes right over the top of the phone holder. (See Photos.) So you can't see your phone very well. Also, my Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra does not fit in the holder. The only useful way I think you could mount this phone holder is vertically. (See photo.) But again, my phone won't fit. And this is not located where the company is recommending. If I'm going to mount a phone holder on my Peloton bike, I want to be able to see the whole screen. Which is unfortunately not going to happen with the Bike+ or with my phone.I gave this bracket 2 stars instead of 1 because the bracket seems to hold well and the tray is nicely made with a soft bottom where your phone would sit. And it works fine if you just want to have easy access to your phone and not actually watch it. I only have the Bike+, so I'm not sure how easy it is to mount, access, or view on the Bike.

Sturdy but Very Large
This phone holder is a good size and easily fits my iPhone 11 Pro and AirPods. The holder itself is a strong, durable plastic and the black color matches my Peloton bike. The clamp was a little tricky to use but, once on, seemed sturdy. My bigger issue is that it is just so big! I like to have a lot of space available on my bike handles to hold it in different positions throughout the course of a ride (especially when sitting versus standing to ride), and I just felt this phone holder took up too much space. If you want the holder to fit your phone and other accessories this is a good option (personally I prefer a more low profile phone holder and won't be using this one).

Perfect size for the Peloton+ Bike
I used to have a standard phone holder attached to my Peloton's handlebars but it got in the way for some hand positions and I always feared that my phone could fall out and get broken on the way down. Now this tray holds my phone at the angle needed, and it's placed so I can still swing around the screen without hitting it. It also has a little extra room to hold my glasses. Plus no fear that the phone will fall off!
