The Mountrek Ultralight Inflatable Sleeping Mat is a fantastic addition to my camping gear! It’s incredibly comfortable, making it easy to get a good night’s sleep after a long day of hiking. The built-in pillow is a nice touch, providing extra support for my head.Inflating it is a breeze, which I really appreciate when setting up camp. While it is a bit bulky to pack, the comfort it offers makes it worth the extra space in my backpack. Lightweight Convenience for Outdoor Adventures
The Mountrek Ultralight Inflatable Sleeping Mat is a solid choice for campers, hikers, and backpackers seeking a lightweight, compact, and easy-to-use sleeping pad. At just £29.99 (with a 25% discount), it offers a balance of comfort and convenience with its built-in pillow and foot pump. The pump feature, while functional, feels like it could use more reinforcement for long-term durability. Nonetheless, the overall construction is decent, with durable 40D nylon and TPU coating that provide good puncture resistance and enough room to stretch out comfortably.Setting it up is a breeze—thanks to the built-in foot pump, you can inflate it in under 30 seconds, which is a lifesaver after a long day outdoors. It's also designed to connect with other pads, making it perfect for group camping or creating a larger sleeping surface. However, I did notice a slight loss of inflation overnight, which is worth keeping in mind for longer trips where more durability might be needed. At its discounted price, the mat offers fair value for money, especially with the included carry bag and repair patches. However, its usual price of £39.99 feels a bit steep considering the few minor issues, such as overnight deflation and the somewhat delicate foot pump area.Overall, the Mountrek Sleeping Mat gets a 4/5 from me. It’s a great "in-a-pinch" option for those impromptu camping trips, and while not perfect, it provides enough comfort and ease of use for the casual outdoor adventurer.

Perfect for camping
This inflatable sleeping mat is a game-changer for camping! It's super lightweight and easy to pack, making it perfect for backpacking trips. The built-in pillow and pump are convenient features that save space and time. The mat itself is comfortable and provides good insulation from the cold ground. While it might take a bit of practice to inflate and deflate, it's a great investment for any outdoor enthusiast.

Highly recommend for campers and hikers looking for comfort without the bulk!
I took this sleeping mat on a weekend camping trip, and it exceeded my expectations. It was surprisingly easy to inflate with the built-in pump, and the extra thickness made it incredibly comfy, even on rocky ground. The integrated pillow was a nice touch, saving me from bringing an extra one. It's lightweight and packs down small, so it didn't take up much space in my backpack. Highly recommend for campers and hikers looking for comfort without the bulk!

Best thing is they can be zipped together
Ordered two of these and have been used in the back of our van and in a tent over the summer. No issues with deflation/leaking.Pump up quickly using the inbuilt pump. They are reasonably comfortable as much as any of these are. You can't compare them to a heavy airbed but they do level out the ground and stop uneven ground or stones coming through. What they do best is provide a layer of insulation which keeps you a lot warmer.Best thing about these for us is we zip them together. This really helps with movement in the night and you don't find yourself one side of the tent and the bed pushed over the other side after you have rolled off it in the night.Built in pump makes them a bit larger and a bit heavier than others although fairly compact. I would not class these as ultralight, lightweight yes but not ultralights. I have genuine ultralight ones that kids have used for D of E awards for example. These are truly ultralight and they do not have inbuilt pumps like this.

Super Compact & Lightweight! - But, It’s Expensive & Not As Thick As I’d Have Liked?
I’ve read a few Negative reviews about this Air Mat - The first one complaining about how Long it is and the second saying their’s kept going down. I’ve reviewed quite a lot of Air Mats over the last 12 months or so and the Length & Width of this one is pretty much Standard Size - Okay, if I were to be precise it maybe a few cm’s longer than the average one, but surely a bit of Extra Length isn’t a bad thing? Plus, when I tried mine, there was no sign of it deflating or going down slowly. Another thing I will say is if you want something Super Compact to carry in your Backpack and Lightweight, then you won’t go far wrong with this! On the other hand, there are a few of my own criticisms I will say about it, which is it could do with having a bit more thickness (depth), as 9cm really isn’t quite enough, particularly with the “Crater Shape” design of the Mat itself. In fact, there were times when I first sat on it, or rolled over where I could feel myself touching the floor? This is a concern for me as I’m only small/medium build and weigh less than 11 Stone in Weight - Therefore, I don’t think this would be suitable for most people, unless they don’t mind becoming one with the floor now and then, but this kind of defeats the object of using an Air Mat! The other thing is the Price, as it’s way too Expensive at £39.99. In all Honestly, I’d expect it to be around the £25 mark, because there are undoubtedly better ones out there and a lot cheaper than this current price? Overall, it’s a little Disappointing because of the couple of reasons outlined above - But, if you want Compact & Lightness, it could be for you! Thank you.
