More of a booklet than book. The one I received is not as illustrated, although same title and Author.

A short advertisement for other books or to persuade you to undertake treatment.If you want to know more, and I have read several books on the topic, a far better bet would is The Bowen Technique by Julian Baker. It is interesting and informative, Well written, with excellent diagrams and photography explaining the technique throughout. More importantly it is readable, interesting and with the right amount of humour to keep the pages turning. Now that is definitely five stars.

Hi and as a Bowen therapist I must say this little book is a gem. It succinctly explains what Bowen is and how it works with interesting examples. Its jam packed with information and I buy them in bulk and sell them at cost price to many of my clients who want to know just that bit more than what they can read in the standard leaflet on Bowen. They love the book and often give it to family and friends for their information. Its not meant to be a big in-depth book. Its meant to be a good introduction and it certainly does more than that, with good pictures and clearly explained, its a lovely addition to any book on the subject.

As an Professional Bowenwork practitioner myself, I wanted to allow my clients access to an easy to read, informational publication for improved understanding. I found the verbiage used to be quite specific and accurate. Great mini-book. Maggie Ralls of BowenWorksMagic-Phoenix.

This is an informative book and quite useful as a means of explaining how the therapy works. Having other books on this subject help even more.

They need to explained how to, and muscle anatomy and what their doing to signal the brain, amount of pressure needed. it just like the pic you see on front of the book thats about as much info an UNDERSTANDING you get! sincerely T, Vible
