Summer Code Mens Jockstrap Jock Strap Underwear Athletic Supporter for Men

I was looking for something very breathable and cool, for use in mild exercise and for sleeping in. I am 6'1, weigh 185 and ordered a Large. The straps on these are a little snug but still comfortable, and the pouch is very comfortable with just the right amount of stretch (I suspect the XL would have been too loose). I only have one minor complaint, and I am surprised no one else has mentioned it. I noticed something felt odd where the leg straps attach to the pouch. There was a twist in one strap no matter how I adjusted it. I compared the construction to an old athletic jockstrap I have. On both, the two leg straps are a single continuous strap which is folded in half where it attaches to the pouch. On the old jock the straps are folded at an angle of about 60 degrees at the point of attachment, so while you wear it the left leg strap moves to the left and the right strap moves to the right and both conform smoothly to your body. On this Summer Code strap, the strap is folded exactly in half so the two halves lie flat on each other. This would be fine on a thong, which has a single strap that goes under your butt, but with two straps neither can lie flat without kinking the other. I verified this by unstitching the strap of the summer code jocks and restitching them to the pouch like the old jocks are, and this completely solved the kinking. It is basically a design flaw. The odd thing is, it doesn't take any extra time during manufacture to do this properly. I went to this much detail in the hope that the manufacturer will take note and correct the problem in the future - although I think it unlikely they will pay any attention.

I like the jock. Feels good and smooth enough to fit nicely under a swimsuit that does not have a liner. That is the main reason I ordered it. Black, not bulky. But, I misjudged the size.. After reading what was written about it I went with a size larger and it's too large. I would like the waist and leg straps to be more snug. So, go with what you would normally chose for size in underwear. I am 6'2" and 190. I use medium for boxer briefs. I should have ordered medium. I went extra large. Just too loose

Great jock - comfortable and arrived in good condition. I expected sizing to be smaller than described, but it wasn't. I am a US Medium, Asian Large (which varies). This was a Large that fit well, somewhere between a Medium and a Large - I could probably have gone with my regular Medium and still fit comfortably. (For reference I am 5'9" 180lbs and typically wear a 32-34 pants).

My husband works out in the heat so he likes to use the style underwear. He actually loves these because they do not have any seems that other one is usually do. They have held their shape through multiple washings. And have not faded. Or stretched. I would have him model them, but He’s so hot and women would be beating my door down. LOL LOL LOL

First of all, I love wearing these because they make me feel sexy and I would recommend any man to wear these with any outfit. Now to the actual product, I have bought summer code or “yuyang” products in the past. Mainly the thongs. In the thongs, I had ordered a medium and a large and both fit tight in the pouch. Knowing how the pouch usually fits in these underwear, I ordered an extra large for this jock strap, despite being a 32in waist, in the hopes it would accommodate my larger package. The waistband actually fit and was not that loose. The pouch fit perfect, it had enough room for me which is hard for me to find in underwear like this. The waistband is very broad but that might be because I bought an XL. The straps do have a problem that another reviewer has mentioned. The straps cannot lay flat while you are wearing it. Causing the strap or the pouch to twist, making it uncomfortable to wear. That’s is the only downside to this jock strap. If they fixed the issue I would buy many more. But, I am happy with the one I bought for now. I might learn to sew just to fix the issue.

I actually LOVE the fit of this product, as far as the pouch goes. It is stretchy, thin and very comfortable. I do think the rear straps are a tiny, tiny bit too long (large). It doesn't seem to be a type of supporter I would use while playing sports, or jogging, etc., - I bought this to wear while recovering from inguinal hernia surgery. And for that purpose it's fantastic.Overall I like it and expect to wear it often. I have a 35 inch waist.

I have been looking for something that provides the support of an athletic supporter but is a bit more comfortable, for daily use! I think this product is vastly superior than your typical athletic supporter!The fabric is lighter, softer, no, much softer, and much more comfortable, than your typical, “Jock”!

Jockstraps are soft and light weight. Breathability is generally good - just wish the was more ventilation on fabric. Overall, no complaints. I think they are on par with some of the more expensive mesh jockstraps. For the price, this is a good deal.

OK product but sizing is an issue, same size as other items from this supplier but these were much larger, by around two sizes. May not last too long.
