I absolutely love this tumbler. I’d been hesitant to buy an insulated tumbler because I was concerned about metal lining leaching into my drinks, so I was cautiously optimistic about this one with its ceramic interior. After using it for a few months, I can confidently say it’s exceeded my expectations. The ceramic lining is impressively durable and hasn’t shown any signs of scratching—I clean it regularly with a bottle brush and dish soap without any issues. It keeps my beverages cold for hours, and there’s usually still ice left by the time I finish my drink. The design is incredibly thoughtful. I especially love the twist-on cap, which seals tightly and never leaks. There’s also a separate flip cap for the straw opening, which is great if you prefer not to use the straw. Worth the cost! I am an avid user of a competing brand that started the new wave of insulated cups and coolers (name is like the abominable snowman). My last purchase from the competing brand for a slighter smaller volume version of this was such a disappointment I write the company about it. We had already gotten an Rtic water bottle from a major, well-known company with their branding on it. We noticed the ceramic lining and noticed how water taste like water - I can't explain it. It's like drinking from plastic, you can tell. Just like stainless steel, you can tell. The ceramic coating provides a very pure flavor to the water. Additionally, it does NOT stain. I used a red mix with my water and the ceramic was unaffected. I love the top! You can use the straw or have an open hole. It isn't heavy like many other versions of this cup. It keeps my ice cold better than the other brand. I wake up with ice in my cup, and continue using it during the day. I dump leftover water and ice and wash every evening (yes, this is my only cup right now). I was using it in bed and hit my arm on something, dropped it. Guess what, NO LEAKS! Even with the straw, no leaking! Later I did test, and water will come out of the straw if laying on the side, but it didn't leak when I dropped it before. I also love the handle. At first I thought it looked cheap and actually it super comfy to hold. I have been impressed by Rtic before I got this, and now I am their biggest fans. I got this while on sale for about $38. At regular price, just $12 more seems a little painful for me to buy another one right now, but I won't resist very long. I always need two... now it's just a matter of which color!

Great tumbler - keeps cold drinks cold for a long time - no metallic taste because of the great ceramic liner - good colors and outside material does not sweat or become too cold - good top - could use a little help as far as the straw option because it could use a larger straw and way to close the top with the straw and still be leak proof

I bought three of these. They are wonderful! I cannot drink out of stainless steel due to the nickel content. I need ceramic, and I was so grateful to find that RTIC offered that option. They have a beautiful sparkling patina, and the ceramic interior does not stain. I have put these in the dishwasher, and they wash up beautifully! The straws are snug and I bought some toppers for them, which need to be a bit smaller than those made for Stanley. Stanley toppers will fall off the straw. I love these! They are very durable and they have kept my ice water cold for more than 48 hours. I let it sit for more than 2 days and I was shocked to find the ice was still in there! The water was cold!! I definitely recommend!

I have purchased several RTIC items and have been very pleased with all of them. They keep drinks cold for hours, and I love the ceramic lining. The quality is just as good as the super expensive brands at a more reasonable price. I love the 40 ounce size.

Day 1, I wasn’t thrilled. I used the same ice-fill method I use with my 40 oz stainless tumblers - just to the top of the narrower base - and within 5 hours, my drink was room temp. Cue disappointment. BUT once I added more ice on subsequent days (more than I’d prefer, honestly), it performed like a champ and kept everything cold for the day. The lid is a highlight: ✔ Leakproof seal ✔ Comfortable sip opening ✔ Straw slot holds snug If RTIC took a cue from Simple Modern and added quarter-turn lid tech, it’d be close to perfect. As is, it’s a full 360° twist, so just start where you want to finish. 😆 The ceramic lining is sleek, and the finish is even prettier in person (mine has a subtle shimmer that catches the light beautifully). I noticed a slight lingering odor in the ceramic lining from flavored water use. In short: if you go heavy on the ice, this is a solid tumbler.

Cup came 7/9 about 3pm in GA. I washed it filled it, drank ts out of it then refilled and left it in the garage with the door a foot open. This morning I still have ice and a cool drink for the heat of the morning! I will now remove the tags and labels to keep it! The leakproof thing is accurate, I can screw the lid to where my handle is left or right handed, I LOVE the design and my water doesn’t taste like metal! Definitely a great purchase!
