We bought these shades because they looked nice and to give us some privacy during the evening and night hours. They do look great in our rooms, but they have no privacy. We can see everything inside when looking in from the outside during the later hours. We like the blinds and are keeping them, but we are having to purchase different curtains to give us the privacy we were looking for. I wanted to say this in case you were wanting these for privacy as well as looks.

I absolutely love these bamboo shades. They look great up and are so easy to use. The installation was fairly easy and holds up well.I'm really impressed that there is no need for a cord or anything at all to the blinds up or down. The light does filter through quite well that lets some light in, but also keeps the privacy of not being see-through on the other side.The quality is excellent and seems very well put together.This is perfectly easy for my kids to use also and is nice to not have to deal with the cords.I think the value is superb for the quality of the product, style, and ease of use. I think this would be perfect for using in kids' rooms, particularly babies and toddlers, for the safety of not having to deal with the cords.Overall, I'm highly impressed with this shade and highly recommend it.

These blinds are great for when you want privacy but still let some light filtering in. Installation couldn't be easier. You just measure so the blinds will be hung straight, screw the bracket onto the wall and then screw the bracket into the top of the frame on the roll. I ordered a size wide enough so that the blind extends wider than the window by a few inches on each side so there wouldn't be any gaps letting light in around the edges. Operation is as simple as pull it up and pull it down by hand. No more ropes! Recommended.
