Much Better and Cleaner than other on Amazon
Out of the 4 other choices I tried from Amazon this one worked the best and it was the cleanest. Most of the solder wicks will work well if you apply a lot of good quality flux and enough heat, but not all of them work well “straight out of the box.”

Not the greatest job of absorbing solder, but you get what you pay for.
Bought this for a small project I was working on, that didn't require a whole heaping ton of supplies. I thought I could get away with going cheap on the whole thing, and while it was manageable, it didn't quite work like I expected. You can go on youtube and see any number of videos of people using desoldering wick and watching that stuff suck right up into the copper. This stuff... eeeh not so much. You have to be really deliberate with the placement of the wick to get any to absorb, and then you kind of have to drag it along a bit too much. I chalk this up to a miniscule amount of flux embedded in the wire. A bit more and i believe it would've worked out nicely. I returned this item for something better.tl;dr - it's manageable for small projects, just know what you're paying for!

Scammed: the content is definitely not 18g
Content of the spool definitely different than the misleading picture. Then, I weighed it, only 7.1g along with the plastic spool!I feel scammed.
