Great product! looks natural and lasts a long time.
I developed an allergic reaction to the root rescue product I had been using for years and needed to find a dye with natural products. I am so glad to find this one! Not only can I use it without any adverse skin reaction, the color is very natural looking and lasts a long time (about six weeks). The dying done in two steps involving two different creams in two different tubes. You choose how much dye cream you need/want to dispense at a time. I don't have a tremendous amount of grey, so I dispense about 1/2 from each tube which allows me TWO "dyings" from the same box. I just carefully wash out the plastic tray provided for the different creams and reuse it the second time. I used "natural black" for months, but just tried "dark brown". I think I like the dark brown, as it is closer to my natural hair color. It is a very, very dark brown.

DOES NOT COLOR - Still gray after application
Good news Bad news. The good news is it did not cause the week to ten days of itching and rash that other popular brands caused. There was very minimal itching that only lasted about 1 hour or less and wasn't uncomfortable. The bad news is the product isn't very easy to use, apply the cream from the first tube (labeled #1) and leave on for ten minutes. Than after the ten minutes apply the second cream (labeled #2) directly over the first cream and leave on for another ten minutes. Now all this effort and when I washed away the color the gray was STILL GRAY.

The only hair color that doesn't gives me an allergic reaction
Purchased it about six times now. Needed to be sure of its effects on long-term usage. Hereâs my personal experience (I paid full price every time, nobody ever paid me to write about it, and I am not a professional reviewer). My goal: to avoid getting a serious rash and bubble on my skin and scalp. My result: goal accomplished.Other observations I made based on what other reviewers said as opposed to my personal experience:1) Does it stink? It doesnât âreekâ but it ainât a stroll in a rose garden either; itâs more like an âunpleasant smellâ. It doesnât have the most attractive of the scents but I donât mind because my hair regimen allows me to âmaskâ it. Also, I noticed that the manufacturer has worked on improving productâs scent â it has improved since I bought it for the first time. It is less smelly. One more thing: the unpleasant smell is mostly noticeable when the hair is wet. I say: itâs doable for me because my goal is not needing to get medically treated for my serious contact dermatitis condition.2) Does the color last a long time? No, it doesnât, because itâs a semi-permanent hair color. As far as I know, there is no permanent hair color that is free of PPD/Ammonia/carcinogens in existence at the moment. Again, I donât mind because my goal is not to get a bad allergic reaction.3) Does is come with English instructions? Yes, it does (at least from this provider). It comes with 2 sets of instructions: the one is English is the smaller piece of paper.4) Does turn your hair blue? It has a somewhat bluish/purple tinge to it, true, but itâs mostly temporarily after you apply it. Also, I noticed that that bluish/purple hue is mostly where I have more grey hair; my dark brown/black hair does not show it in a noticeable way.5) Does it relax your curls? Unfortunately, it does. My natural curls are pretty much gone, after several uses. And this is what I dislike the most about this product. I have been using it more sporadically to try to avoid this âside effectâ. If I could keep my curls, Iâd give this product 5 stars, hence the 4 starts rating.Hey, you, manufacturer, if you are reading this, can you please work on trying to remove whatever ingredient that is relaxing the curls but still keep it allergy-free? It's a dare.

Appears to be PPD/PTD free/safe, works very well! Best temp dye out there!
I wanted to wait until I used the product 3 times before I provided a fair review. This product is revolutionary for me. I've had a severe PPD/PTD hair dye allergy for over ten years now, and cannot use 100% of permanent hair dyes. Even temp dyes professing to not contain the two ingredients generally create a reaction for me after a few months. I have been using Cosamo and Jazzing for the last few years, which are the only two I don't react too. However, they at best, last a week with 2-3 washes, and then turn light brown/orange very quickly, and it's NOT pretty since my natural hair color is black. I end up having to wear a baseball cap the second week to cover up the embarrassment anytime I leave the house (I live in hot Hawaii, so this passes as normalish). ;-) However, this dye is the FIRST truly great temp hair dye I've found in over ten years of trying over a dozen products that can make my hair black and/or dark drown. No temp dye worldwide (and yes, I've bought from many different countries) has ever achieved that. It fades, of course, but lasts closer to two solid weeks, and perhaps 5-7 washes. I cannot recommend this product highly enough- it does have a strong odor, and is misleading in saying it takes ten minutes (it takes closer to 45 to do it right, as there are two applications that each take 10-15 min to sit, and then 10-15 min each to apply), and it's possible I could react over some time, but at this point, I would say I'm fully enamored and it works better than any other temp product out there.
