Loved This Book! So many twists and turns!
I loved this book! This murder mystery was not predictable and there was never a dull moment. I love how the author developed the characters and gaves many details of what it really takes to investigate a crime/crime scene. I also enjoyed getting a little bit of historical facts. I completely recommend this book.

Wow! I couldn’t put this book down. Not only was it a page turner, but I felt like part of the crime scene investigation team. It’s obvious the author is an experienced crime scene investigator who knows his craft. Plenty of twists and turns that will keep you guessing who the killer is. Highly recommend.

Fun to read about local places
Growing up in Appleton, this was too fun. I enjoyed reading about local streets and places. The story kept me turning pages. Lots of twists and surprises. The education about police work and special agents in the military was woven right through the story.

Tips, tradecraft lead to a great read
David has hit another home run with No Perfect Crime. This book has highlighted many things OSI teaches it agents on crime scenes, interviews and counterintelligence. These helped make the story flow and meld in his many years as an OSI agent. The character development was really good and you had to continue to read further into the book to see how Lt “Stinger” and his team figured out who the real perp was. I can say I thought the preverbal bad guy turned out to be right, but, it was how David developed the reason that kept me on the edge of my seat. The book was fast paced and looking back at the storyline he kept putting more information on the pages that made it flow until it finally reached the “crescendo” in the last few chapters. I think Stinger and his team will need a few more books to bring more adventures to life. This is a great book with lots of law enforcement procedures that highlight how good cops can get the job done. Well done David.

EXCITING AND ENTERTAINING
I highly recommend David's new book "No Perfect Crime".I highly recommend David's new book "No Perfect Crime". As all of his books have been, it is interesting, exciting, and enjoyable - hard to put down once you start reading it. Kept me guessing on "who done it" throughout the book. I hope David keeps more of these crime mysteries coming soon.

You can skip all the other reviews and just read this one!
As someone who reads crime/mystery novels on almost a daily basis I can be a bit of a plot hole nitpicker. Really you would not want to watch a show with me, I am guaranteed to pick out everything that would not really happen... This book exceeded my expectations. It is hyper realistic to the point I actually remembered to do the 9pm routine last night. As someone who lives in the Fox Valley (where it takes place) I loved the shout outs to all the local businesses. I also love the last few pages of the book with the fund raiser linked. This author is very much connected and devoted to his community. Reading this book makes me feel like I am even more part of it than I am! If you have never been to the Fox Valley you will feel like you have been after reading. The story line is amazing, trust me you won't want to put it down! I can only hope this book becomes a series! For an amazing crime novel, look no further you have found it. (p.s. if you are someone who keeps looking and can never actually decide on a book/movie/show, just pick this one, you won't regret it.)
