After about 5 months of use the motor started to slow down noticeably. Batteries were not the issue. I could tell that the button on the top was just not making good contact anymore. I opened it up and its just a thin metal strip that bends with the button being pushed to make contact with the battery and complete the circuit to fire up the motor. That bend had gotten soft and was not making full contact anymore. I stuffed a piece of aluminum foil in there and that made it work again well for about another month before it started to slow down once more. All things said I threw it out. But getting 6 months of near daily use out of a 6 dollar device isn't bad at all.

works great on thick drinks like Eggnog and my special Bloody Mary. I bought a backup.

this lasted me 7 months of being used a few times each week. subtract one month for being out of town — 6 months usable. then it just totally stops working. not a peep, no little buzz, just quiet. i am sad, it was really cute and useful until it wasn’t.

It works great. It has a double whisk which helps blend stuff easier and more effectively. It is easy to clean and it’s my favorite color.

Edit: I'm surprised that the whisk lasted as long as it did according to other reviews that it lasted less time. I've used the almost daily for my morning coffee for work and water mixes. At first this whisk was amazing. Then I started noticing in the last 2 weeks that it wasn't as powerful, so I figured that hopefully it was just the batties going bad. I just finished mixing my drink and the whisk shut off. I put multiple brand new batteries in it, it turned on once for a few seconds and died back out. Now there's a faint smell of something burning from the whisk. I'm guessing that the little motor blew. And my window to return the whisk just closed. 👎🏼 ----------------------------------------- I love this whisk. It's quite powerful. The only downfall is that it doesn't come with a stand. (which I knew purchasing this) I kept it in my drawer, but I'd forget about it and it was also a PITA trying to set it upright to dry. So, I ended up finding just the stand and purchasing that separately. It's easy to clean. Especially if you use a straw cleaning brush on it to clean the whisk itself. The metal whisk does not come off to wash separately. It's easy to mix 8oz of liquid and I can get away mixing 10oz but nothing more than that due to being sure to keep liquid away from the battery compartment.
