The boar bristles are too soft even for fine hair
I have fine hair, but I love using a brush with boar and nylon bristles on my scalp. However, this brush didn't stimulate my scalp because the bristles are too soft. I have a lot of hair, but it's fine, and thin in some areas. I doubt that this would work on thick hair. In terms of quality, I did like the aesthetics of the box it came in and the weight of the brush and cleaner. I just couldn't keep it based on the price if it wasn't going to do what I had expected it to (based on my experience of other boar and nylon brushes I have purchased in the past).
